IIRC, that's exactly what happened. They had to retrofit the twins into Dark Empire (by mention only).

Ties in, or at least very similar to, Dr Pershing's experiments on Grogu:

"Replicated the results of the subsequent trials, which also resulted in catastrophic failure. There were promising effects for an entire fortnight, but, then, sadly, the body rejected the blood. I highly doubt we'll find a donor with a higher M-count, though. I recommend that we suspend all experimentation. I fear that the volunteer will meet the same regrettable fate if we proceed with the transfusion. Unfortunately, we have exhausted our initial supply of blood. The Child is small, and I was only able to harvest a limited amount without killing him. If these experiments are to continue as requested, we would again require access to the donor. I will not disappoint you again, Moff Gideon."

Episode 4 was good. Thought we'd get another Hunter/Wrecker episode but was surprised to get another Omega/Crosshair one.

They are moving things along pretty quickly... I think they have quite a bit to fit in this season before the series finale.

My clone complaints are based solely on the poor quality of Rise of Skywalker. All of this Project Necromancer stuff is actually pretty interesting. If anything, all this is just going to make ROS even worse.

Hate to seem like an Internet fanboy dumping on something, but we're all well aware there was no real plan for anything in the sequel trilogy. At least the TV stuff all ties together fairly well.

That's the brilliance of it though.

The prequels are shit and the animated shows plugged the holes and kinda redeemed the whole mess. That's the exact same thing going on with the Mandalorian and Bad Batch fixing holes in the sequel trilogy.

Kind of a filler episode this week if you ask me. I liked having Crosshair back with the rest of the Batch and the tensions between him and Hunter. Crosshair is probably the most interesting character on the show to me.

Also I couldn’t help but think of the sandworms in Dune with the worm creature they were dealing with on the ice planet in this episode.

The main difference between the Prequel Trilogy and the Sequel Trilogy is that while they're both shit-shows, at least the Prequel Trilogy told the right story. The Sequel Trilogy (intentionally?) torpedoed the legacy characters and the mythology. Outside of an apology and throwing TFA, TLJ, and TROS down the memory hole and restarting the whole thing from scratch, there's no fixing it.

That's fair and that might be what the new Rey film will be tackling, simply moving on from the OT characters. While I enjoy the ST, it was clear they didn't know how to service OT characters while balancing introducing an entire new cast of characters to grow to love.

Episodes 6 and 7 dropped today. They’re really parts 1 and 2 of a longer episode.

Great stuff, though!

The animation on this is getting better all the time. I remember not really liking Clone Wars when it started because of the stiff looking characters, but this is really well done, and a natural evolution from the earlier shows.

Agreed. I love the way this show is animated. Not just the characters but the cinematography is some of SW's best.

That 3 on 1 fight in the cave was fantastic.

I haven’t read Dark Disciple, but I don’t mind her return… or her new haircut.

Double episode next week (4/3).

Two more solid episodes today. They aren’t messing around.

Good to see Cad Bane again… nice cameo.

And it’s always wonderful to see creatures from the movie being used in the animated shows…
Spoiler:
From Solo: A Star Wars Story…

… to The Bad Batch:
