So what will Wanda (or whoever) do when she catches up to modern sitcoms? What would a modern sitcom be like on Wandavision? It would still need to be a family sitcom, so that probably excludes stuff like The Office, Friends, and Big Bang Theory. Maybe Modern Family, but there really aren't enough family members. Maybe Wanda would "reboot" some of the earlier sitcoms. Or would the simulation end when she reaches modern day sitcoms, or does she switch over and start doing dramas, reality shows, or game shows?

So Agnes cackling like a witch while in a witch costume while supposedly being unhooked from Wanda's control by Vision. Genuine foreshadowing or red herring?

This show is really hyping whoever Rambeau's contact man is. I'm sorry, but if it turns out to be
that will elicit a massive "huh?" reaction and disappointment from 99% of the viewers who have never, ever heard of him.
My gut says they are bringing in an established character from either the MCU or Fox/Sony universes, or best of all
If it's the first spoiler, then they should never have dragged out his reveal, because it's not an exciting or interesting one to most viewers.

They could do Everybody Does Raymond but there's no grandparents around. I'd love to see them do Roseanne or The Middle. Vision would be awesome playing some version of Frasier.

Well with Kat Denning pulled into the Hex, def going to be disappointed if we don't get an homage to 2 Broke Girls with her character in the next episode. And good call Deftones, I NEED an Office spoof with Vision and his coworkers. Even if it's just one scene. Major missed opportunity if we don't get that.

You guys think with them mentioning how going into the hex alters people's cells might be their way to introducing mutants to the MCU?

Wanted to hop back to this: My 17-year-old son who likes Marvel movies but has never enjoyed a single episode of episodic TV now joins us every Friday night to watch the show and then spends the next 30 minutes reading aloud all of the stuff pointed out on the internet that we might have missed.
I wouldn't give that experience up for anything.

My wife, son (12) and I are all fully on board with this show and watch it together as soon as we can each Friday. We're all already saying we're going to miss it. It's making me wish more new shows went to weekly installments.
And yes, I know we could practice self discipline and make ANY show follow the weekly installment set-up, but who are we kidding? And like you mentioned, we'd miss out on the weekly on-line dissection (my son is a fan of Screen Crush's Easter Egg YouTube videos after each new episode) if the show was binge-able.

I like this guy's theory on what the commercial represented this week.
https://www.wdwradio.com/2021/02/wan...hat-you-think/
And this was my spin on it.
To put it succinctly: Wanda made a Faustian deal with the devil in order to be able to resurrect Vision and create the pretend life she is leading.
And this was my spin on it.
Alternate “Go with me” theory here. What if everything you said was true; about the Faustian deal, the extension of her powers, the kids, etc. But...instead of Mephisto, who you have to admit is a pretty obscure Marvel character, especially when we’re talking about just the MCU, it’s a character we all love to hate....
Loki! Think about it. We know he had a flair for the dramatic. Literally, with him posing as Odin and forcing his people to reenact his story. We know he craves attention and most importantly chaos. He LOVES manipulating people the more powerful the better. The closest he came to destroying the Avengers wasn’t with the Chitauri but when he was subtly manipulating and maneuvering each member against one another before the invasion. Also Loki was before Wanda, Vision, and Pietro came around so they have never faced him so would more likely fall for his tricks. We know the more straight up evil Loki (before his redemption arc) is the one running around with the space stone. And he looks pretty comfortable sporting devil like horns. He also conveniently has his own show coming up with which we have no idea what it’s about. He also said several times in various movies and comic books that he’s always wanted to live in the suburbs and raise twin boys. (Ok I made that last part up). As the saying goes, why Mephisto when you can Loki...or something like that.
The only thing is that he’s in the wrong part of the timeline. But that could easily be fixed.
It’s just a thought anyways.

Me too. I like this version of Quicksilver. I am disappointed that, at least so far, it really does seem to be a recasting of Pietro and not X-Men Pietro. So more of an easter egg then an actual wow moment. But I guess that's the beauty of it is that even if it's not fully resolved now they can leave that door open for future connections.

This is what I love about these Disney+ shows so far. TV has become a family affair again (well most families. My wife just falls asleep on the couch and my kids are too young for Wandavision, although they loved the Mandalorian). They just need to figure out the timing of the releases. 3am EST is just not a great time for an episode to drop. Just go full on old school and release it on prime time.

Yes. Especially as how mystery laden and spoilerific this series has been and people have been with this show. But also one of the things we've lost in our media consumption is that singular time where everybody watches at the same time. It's only sporting events that have that now. It would be fun to have that again. Like people used to have GoT and TWD watch parties and things of that nature.

I wonder if they release it at 3AM so they don't have a huge hit on their servers if they release it during prime time.

That's probably true - HBO's servers would regularly die when Thrones was released for streaming right after it aired on the the network. I like that this is ready to go whenever we're ready to watch on Friday night.

Agree, I haven't had much trouble avoiding spoilers on Friday. And if i see a thumbnail with olsen/bettany on it, i scroll by fast. And if I don't watch by saturday night, that's on me.

I do think AT-J will make an appearance sometime during the final 3 episodes.
