Ughh why did they bring back Paul Walter Hauser? So annoying. ![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
Loved seeing douchebag Anthony finally get caught for bullying![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
I am loving Terry Silver back. It’s fun having him and Kreese in a pissing contest for power.

Just finished it. Loved it. I watched 3 episodes last night and finished the last 7 tonight. I thought I would pace myself, but damn, before I knew it, it was already past Midnight and I hit episode 10.
That was an awesome finale and a lot of drama. They did a good job with the climatic fight scene and the choreography.
I was totally expecting a big showdown between:
The big reveal with:
I did like the moment between Robby and Johnny.
The end scene at the cemetery
The cliffhanger involving:
Good stuff. They do a really good job making each episode compelling despite a few minor annoyances. I hope they bring this back next summer as opposed to Winter 2022/23. They shot the whole season already, so they can't sit on it too long.
The show has definitely evolved and become more of an ensemble show than a sequel dealing with Johnny's journey as season 1 started as.

Little known fact they drafted a lot of 7yr olds to serve in Vietnam. ![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
Binged it. Thought it was great. Loved how Silver did the quickest turn from reformed heel to psychopath in less than an episode.![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
Stink-ray.

The question is why Stink-Ray’s neighbor didn’t press charges against him for assault?

Just finished the first episode of the new season. Great start, but I thought Thomas Ian Griffith was in it.
Didn’t realize Christopher Walken took his place!

Enjoyed it but they're going to have to mix things up for next year because these "kids" are now in their mid-late 20's and it's no longer working. Miguel looks old enough to be a teacher at the high school, not a student. Plus, the older they get the more silly they look with no actual martial arts training, trying to look like they know what they're doing. Probably why the final was Robby/Hawk. They both seem to know what they're doing on the mat (plus....6 packs for the girls watching).

In Season 5:
Julie (Hillary Swank) is a recovered opioid addict so agrees to fight for Terry Silver in order to make money to get her kid back.

hey, did anyone see where light/dark issues in episode 2? Some scenes were super bright and the other dim, and it was jarring back and fourth. Never seen anything like it. Happened a few times in episode 3 as well.

No. Probably a setting on your TV adjusting brightness on the fly.

Honestly, Season 4 wasn't that great. It really felt like Netflix noted them to death, as the show was a hell of a lot more cheesier than the YouTube seasons (1-3). We all get that Johnny is kind of goof, but that opening scene with him making the Mexican food with the salsa almost seemed like a SNL parody of the show. The "younger" kids they introduced were equally as bad, and we know they will play a big part in Season 5 as well (already filmed). Still, the main cast is pretty talented, and Terry was fantastic!
Overall, 6/10. Easy, breezy watch, but no where as good as previous seasons.

Love how they took the over-the-top villain from what’s generally considered the worst KK movie and made him actually work.

I enjoyed it. I'm impressed that they took Terry Silver, who was an over-the-top cheesy villain in a terrible movie and made him into a pretty good and threatening villain. Interested in the Kreese betrayal and LOVED the Chozen reveal at the end. So will we get a Jonny/Daniel/Kreese/Chozen team-up against Silver/Barnes/??? ?

I really hope that they don't go with a Kreese redemption, but it is looking like that might happen.

Man, that Stingray episode was cringe-worthy. But we did get to see Tory in that dress so....

Kreese is a dick and it's clear from all the abuse Demetri takes on the show he has neglectful parents. That said, Kreese isn't all bad, he cares for the kids (Tory) but his way of trying to help is clearly misdirected. But yeah, he should probably be in prison for some of the shit he's done, just not what he's accused of doing. If they do redeem him they need to make sure he pays the price for all his misdeeds.
