So glad it is officially renewed, and now that the season is over I have to say that one of the darkest and most disturbing moments in the series was when we learned that the Sheriffs' wife
Spoiler:

Spoiler:
snapped and thought that since she told herself that it was all in her mind, that any action she would take towards the townspeople was not real, and started shooting everyone and would have killed her son if the Sherriff had not killed his own wife, man....that is way darker than anything the supernatural critters did to the towns folk.

I put the above in spoilers, as it is possible folks are still catching up on the season.

I LOVED this show. For the most part people acted amazingly rationally. Even the software doofus reaction was sort of understandable. It really sort of became LOST in the last 3 episodes as opposed to just being constrained to the zombie/demon situation but I thought it was OK. There is a lot of things to explain and hopefully they have a specific plan. But I honestly think this show is one of the best I have ever seen in both the zombie and "LOST" sort of genres. I think the cast is pretty fantastic and they did an awesome job making the outlandish elements seem plausible. Very very happy to see it renewed especially when you also learn it had good ratings too. Some thoughts:
Spoiler:
It seems like people have been winding up here since the 1500s. That sort of means that some group of people were successful enough to hold off the monsters to the point they could build a town but then something happened to remove whatever protection they had. I usually hate the wife "fridge" trope but it was handled well here and made a lot of sense. Seems like there is a "big bad" from the cave drawings at the very end. One mistake they made though. The son mentions spiders at one point but up until that time we had never seen any until the sheriff encountered them so there must have been an edit that cut some spider scenes out maybe feeling it was too much stuff. My one gripe is that they could make the homes more secure I think to avoid things like the little girl and that loved addled asshole from just letting them in

Bump, my dvr is recording season 2 episode 1 as I type, looking forward to watching this tonight.

ETA: The table has been set for another crazy season. Also, the bus that was last seen driving into town at the end of Season ones final episode does not simply contain a random group of individuals, and I will just leave it at that.

I look forward to watching a new episode before I go to sleep each Sunday for the next 2 months or so.

I binged the first season yesterday and loved it. Started S2 and will be sticking with it until the end.

This show completely missed my radar last year so just started watching S1 - really like it. There was a notification on my feed that S1 is leaving Amazon this weekend so I plan to binge it until then.

Holy shit. The second episode had so many characters being so fucking stupid and so fucking annoying, I actually had to turn it off.
I'll try again later ...

E6 is up and the shit has hit the fan. It was awesome. I thought the last two episodes just meandered, but today's episode finally moves shit forward.

I mostly enjoyed Season 2 but they've certainly taken a "Lost" level turn with the conclusion. I imagine that means that no satisfying answers will be forthcoming and it'll eventually come to a crashing halt but I guess I'm willing to ride that fiery trainwreck.

How about that ending? I hope there is a Season 3 to see what happens.
Spoiler:
I wonder if since the buzzing has stopped in the town that maybe they all may be free to go? And the one who woke up in the hospital, I wonder if she's going to go find the trail she was found at to see if she can get back so she can lead the others to the tower to get out - now that she found the "exit"?

Great Season finale. It was greenlit for Season 3 before Season 2 even aired. Who knows when we see it with the writer's strike

Spoiler:
Given that her reflection in the hospital window was of another person and the view looked overly enhanced I'm firmly in the "This is a simulation" camp and she somehow jumped to a different body and location. How it all ties together I have no idea.

Officially renewed for season 3. Haven’t started season 2 yet, but glad to hear. Seems like this is the first hit show of MGM +

Biggest hurdle for this show, aside from being a little too much of a shaggy dog tale, is the channel its on.

Yeah MGM + content gets little to no attention. But, I'm sure it's because many don't have the time or money to add smaller services like this.

Just resubscribed for a few months to watch the new season and maybe that Amityville doc. Can't wait.

Also, can anyone explain why prestige show "Godfather of Harlem" (another incredible, little seen gem) is also on Hulu? How did that happen?

Probably just a joint deal that Hulu picked it up after seasons were complete.

But to make things confusing, on Hulu Season 3 is listed as an ABC series.

Because it’s produced by ABC. So it’s technically affiliated with Disney.

This show is excellent and I'm happy to see it's renewed

I rarely post on FB but I had to give this show some publicity
