The Huey Lewis song was a nice touch. 🤣

”Vaya con dios, my friend.”

Next week is the double header.

Can’t wait.

I’ll be watching it live.

Was that a callback to Pretty in Pink? I figured it was just a reference to Red knowing Huey Lewis.

No, there’s no Huey Lewis and the News tracks on the Pretty in Pink soundtrack… I just took it as a nod to the 80s Brat Pack (I totally forgot about the Reddington/Huey Lewis connection). 🤣

Tonight is the 2-episode series finale.

I’m stoked… and curious how this will end after 10 seasons.

For once this season, I’m going to watch it live with commercials. 😉

I'm glad NBC didn't just decide to save the remaining episodes for the fall when the writers' strike started. They still had around 11 or so to go at that point and could have easily used those to fill a slot on their schedule.

They can’t. They have a deal with Netflix and can’t push it off.

I LOL’ed halfway through the second episode after this exchange:
Spoiler:
Agnes: “Pinky, you sound like such a mom.”

Red: “I guess I can’t help it.”

There’s 30 minutes left but I think that’s all he’s going to say about that.

Whelp, that’s not how I thought this series would end… but in a way it’s fitting: both romantic and poetic.

Thanks for 10 seasons Red.

Do we get to find out who Red really is?

Is suicide by bull any better than becoming a lumberjack? I feel like we were scammed by not getting any real answers about who Red really was. I guess it really doesn't matter since it seems they probably didn't know themselves. Is the real Red Reddington out there somewhere or was this, in fact, the real one? I wish we actually learned that.

So did Red know he was dying anyway? That seems to have been the case this past season. Was it due to that mysterious illness he had a few seasons back?

How do they consider Red to be Agnes' grandfather? Is it because Liz thought Red was her real father? Or because he's actually her grandmother?

I was only able to watch the second episode because of stupid tornadoes. So I still need to watch the penultimate episode. I got the basics of it from the opening of the last hour.

Kudos for showing the violent aftermath of such an encounter. Ouch. I got into this show late with the last few seasons so at some point I will need to go back to the beginning.

Re: The Blacklist (NBC) -- The 10th and Final Season -- Premieres 2/26/23

Sorry to bump this thread, but I just saw Aram (Amir Arison) in a Butterfinger commercial as a BFI (Butterfinger Investigator) Agent (while watching Tracker on Paramount Plus).

Work must be slow for the former member of the task force.

Edit to add: This commercial is a year old.
