Not sure about the time jump either. This show has gotten so endlessly dark (Gene killed his son - maybe?) and honestly it was kind of painful to watch how bad Barry and Sally and their poor kid have gotten. Almost zero chance of a happy ending for these guys I guess.

The suggested videos on the Youtube page they were watching were great, my favorite:

“Parents Straight Up Murder Each Other After Little Game!”

Alan Sepinwall agrees that this episode was too bleak and dark, even for this series.

I think I missed something cuz I was tired when watching, but why does Barry think he needs to kill Gene now? Sally said they're making a movie. So what?

You didn't miss anything. I guess if the movie gets made it greatly re-elevates Barry Berkman's profile. I don't see how killing Gene lowers it -- maybe they think by killing Gene they can intimidate the production to stop? Seems unlikely.
In any case they need to leave this location behind and never come back.
Also, the Sepinwall review mentioned that Sally's acting student is getting her own superhero spin off movie -- Did i miss that?

It already sounds like Barry's profile is in the public as it is - which makes me wonder how no one would recognize him after all these years.
Killing Gene would probably push Barry even further into the public eye as it would create a mystery that shows like Dateline would love to cover.

It was one of the movie billboards on the side of the building toward the end when the lady from the studio was walking to meet Gene. It was Megagirls 4, but she was the only one on the billboard.

I thought it was great. There is no true happy ending for these characters. They have killed and gotten away with it for years. This is about the comeuppance and I am here for it.

I just wish they hadn't followed the shitty person playbook of having a kid they have no business raising. I'm all for everyone getting what's coming but that kid didn't ask for any of this.

The Youtube baseball video of the kid being killed by a line drive.

I am glad Sally did not hook up with that creepazoid or I would have lost all respect for Sally.

Her wig drops on the bathroom floor and she picks it up and wears it?

Prefer her as a blonde though maybe she was wearing makeup with the dark hair.

Ugh, do not like. I HATE that they have brought a kid into all this. And turned him into a brain-washed hermit that can't even play video games or with the neighbor kid. Too fucking depressing. I don't even know if I care how they finish it any more.

I'll hang in there, but I really wasn't feeling the last episode. Hopefully it will all lead to a satisfying ending.

I first thought the time jump was a hallucination that Barry was having. I'm still not 100% sure that's not the case.

Yeah, he probably he didn't survive the assassination attempt in prison. This is a hallucination just before he dies.

As much as I'm not a fan of the time jump, it would be even worse if it was just a hallucination. I don't want to waste my time watching 4 episodes of something that didn't actually happen in the show.
I don't think it's a hallucination - it would piss off too many people.

“everyday can be like dave & buster’s” - Cristobal Sifuentes

Loved Bill Burr was the podcast host saying murder was not a sin.

The Sally stuff really felt out of place.

It's truly acceptable if you're getting back at someone for putting a teammate in the hospital from an exhibition game. Everyone knows that.

Yeah, the Sally stuff didn't make any real sense to me. Not seeing the purpose to it.
