I, too am a little worried about the selection of games. Right now, I'm only going to get NFS:Most Wanted and then see what people say about the rest. Will probably pick up Madden and FIFA, but will check reviews first.

I noticed the sniping pistol too though. I'm not a fan. It's going to be like Halo all over again on-line.

Taken from this link, the most current Launch Day release list I've seen:
16-17 titles available on launch day is pretty impressive, I must admit.

- Perfect Dark Zero - MS
- Project Gotham Racing 3 - MS ("should be available")
- NBA 2K6 - Take Two
- NHL 2K6 - Take Two
- Top Spin 2 - Take Two
- Amped 3 - Take Two
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Take Two
- Call of Duty 2 - Activision
- Quake 4 - Activision
- Tony Hawk's American Wasteland - Activision
- GUN - Activision
- Need for Speed Most Wanted - Electronic Arts
- FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup - Electronic Arts
- NBA Live 06 - Electronic Arts
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 - Electronic Arts
- Madden NFL 06 - Electronic Arts

It's a decent launch....a lot of sports titles, so you'll either like it or hate it. I know I'll pick up at least 5 of those titles (3 are already pre-ordered)

After seeing what X05 had to offer I think I am going to pay off my PDZ preorder last. The co-op mode convinced me that game would be fun and the screens made me think the game would look good. Now that I've seen more footage of the game I'm not so impressed. There is that one shot of in the trailer as Joanna rolls on the rooftop and lifts her head up. Her face looks really really bad and creepy. I'm still not 100% sold on the game but I'm excited about the system and the other games I have ordered.

Well, I'm all paid off on the system and I also paid off a charge and play kit. I pre ordered Oblivion and by November, I hope to have that plus Kameo, Quake, Call of Duty 2 and a second controller all paid in full. I'm very excited for the launch. November 22nd couldn't come soon enough.

So, how does the play and charge kit work? Does it charge up the $12 external battery for the controller? Or, does it charge up the AA used in the controller? Thus, we would have to use rechargable batteries, right?
I was just curious....since I'm not sure if I'll kit the $12 external battery or not.
I basically have my 360 paid off too....which is credit sitting on my GameRush card. $230+$100 Gift Card....thus, I'll have a little left over

Xbox 360 gets first download-only title
Marble Blast Ultra to be made available to Xbox Live Arcade customers shortly after system launches.
Marble Blast Ultra is the latest in GarageGames's Marble Blast series, an online arcade action game in which players navigate their marbles through moving platforms and dangerous hazards while collecting gems and power-ups. The game was designed with players of all ages in mind.
Gamers will likely need a hard drive-equipped Xbox 360 in order to download the game. A GarageGames spokesman said Marble Blast Ultra technically would be able to fit on a memory card, but only if the Xbox Live Arcade architecture would allow downloads directly to memory cards.
A specific release date hasn't been named, but the game should be available around the system's launch window. Pricing information for the game has not yet been released.

Is that coop picture in picture an ingame thing, or something they did for the presentation? If that is ingame, that would be very sweet.

I have no clue about the PIP being in game or not. Logically I want to say no and they're using a dual tuner monitor of some sort, but the zipline stuff fit really well with the PIP there. So I have no clue.

Supposed launch list from 360Updates :
http://360updates.qj.net/2005/10/thi...unce-xbox.html
I am pretty sure this list isn't complete, as I recall 'Condemned' is supposed to be a launch title as well.
So what is everyone thinking of getting so far?
My choices are :
Oblivion
Kameo
Tony Hawk (I know it won't look fantastic, but I haven't played Tony Hawk in a while)
Project Gotham Racing 3
Possible buy/rental (after reviews):
Perfect Dark Zero
NHL 2k6
Top Spin 2
Condemned
Gotta love Gamerush credit, or I would never think of getting so many games at launch!

The mystery of which titles Xbox 360 games will launch day-and-date with the system, and which will be part of the "launch window" has been resolved a little further, as a new Reuter report has illuminated the plans of many third-party developers for the North American system launch, concretely scheduled for November 22 in North America.
Take-Two Interactive, best known for the Grand Theft Auto series and its 2K sports line purchased from Sega last year, will be releasing NBA 2K6, NHL 2K6, Top Spin 2, Amped 3, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion at launch. The company is tied for most launch titles with Electronic Arts, which will debut with Xbox 360 versions of Need for Speed Most Wanted, FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup, NBA Live 06, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06, and Madden NFL 06.
Activision, by contrast, will have only four games, but in a more diverse selection of genres than the other publishers' sports-heavy lineups. Its same-day offerings will be Call of Duty 2, Quake 4, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, and Gun.
Microsoft has said that the system will be joined on launch day by 15-20 games; the 14 listed above alongside promised first-party titles Kameo: Elements of Power and Perfect Dark Zero, both from Rare Studios, make 16. Microsoft is also intending to contribute Bizarre Creations' Project Gotham Racing 3 for a total of 17 launch games.

Well, I have 6 games pre-ordered from GameRush now for the 360...they are:
Oblivion
Call of Duty 2
Madden 06
Quake4
Gears of War
The Outfit
I'll probably get Perfect Dark0 and/or PGR3...when the price drops to $50 at GameRush. I still have a few pre-orders I can cancel/switch.

I think I'm going to go with:
Madden
FIFA
One of the NBA games
Tiger
Call of Duty 2
PGR3
Kameo
I had PD0 pre-paid, but I hated PD and people are saying you have to be pretty stealthy, which irritates me, so I think I'll switch that one over to one of these. Might add a couple more based on reviews.
Then, after a month or so, I'll trade most of them back in to Gamerush! LOL.
