Well, it's not so much an article, as a news blurb saying MS went with HD-DVD, and then prints MS's talking points as to why. It would have been nice if the reporter went back and validated all of those claims MS is making, but maybe that wasn't the point of the piece.

Of course it is only opinion. It is my opinion, as well as a lot of people (do a google search) that Tom's Hardware articles should be taken with a grain of salt. They are not, as you put it, one of the most reputable hardware sites around; this instance should at least prove that.

I was just trying to figure out what was going on with MS and their stance on the next high-def medium. Understand that I take a lot of what's thrown around here with a grain of salt, but I don't mean that to be disrespectful to anyone.
