I hear MM is great though and well worth the $6. True or false, people?

That's definitely one I'll be picking up if I can ever find a Wii.

Potential online nightmare: http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/18/fi...c-friend-code/
Comments are calming the storm by saying it has to do with the DS interactivity and this won't be true for the majority of online Wii games, but I don't see anyway to know that one way or the other yet.
Doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy yet.
Does anyone know how Elebits works with sending custom levels?
IGN's recent review of the Japanese version of Pokemon Battle Revolution reveals that the game uses "a unique 12-digit friend code, different from your Wii system number," to identify you to potential online opponents. As if that wasn't bad enough, the game has "no actual lobby where you can see how many players are currently doing battle under the various rules of play," meaning it's hard to find new people to play against.
It's not yet clear whether this system will carry over to other countries or other online-enabled Wii games, but it seems unlikely to us that Nintendo would premiere the Wii's online gameplay with a setup it didn't plan on continuing in other games. Then again, that's just us assuming again...

And here is where Nintendo's dogged refusal to incorporate online into anything bites them in the ass. I honestly wonder what would've happened if Xbox Live had never launched. We'd still be happy with the half-assed online we get on other sstems.

I was just playing Rayman why doesn't it fill the whole screen like other games do on a widescreen tv. Do you have to change the setting when you play this game because it looked a little squished.

True that. At least for SMW. Or any of the Super Mario Bros. games for NES.

Also I wish, in addition to text messaging, we had a way to send Pictochat-esque messages. I found the urge to draw and send a penis to a "friend" overwhelming tonight.

A "trial-version" of the Opera Browser will be available starting 12/22.
I wonder if this "trial-version" is a limited use free one until the "full" one releases in Spring or if it is just a public Beta and the full one will be free then too.
