I'm working on diamond smgs at the moment, and the MSMC is either a horrendously terrible gun, or my lag has been especially bad lately. It seems to have bad recoil, low damage, tough headshots and the worst iron sights I have seen.

Black Ops 2 'Revolution' DLC Details

The first bit of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been leaked online.

The expansion is titled 'Revolution', and if the leaked promotional images (via MP1st) are to be believed, it will contain four new multiplayer maps and one new map for the zombies mode.

The new MP maps are called Hydro, Downhill, Grind and Mirage, while the zombies map is named Die Rise. And you'll be able to run around levels wielding the new Peacekeeper SMG.

Another leaked image states that the Revolution expansion will come to Xbox 360 on Tuesday, 29th January, and will be an exclusive for a limited amount of time.



The image above was tweeted by @RaptorClaw141 who spotted the poster in his local GameStop.

I hate the ksg...there is something wrong with it. My best guess is because of lag, I am not actually shooting people, even though I am aiming at them, in 5 feet...boom..no hit marker, and I die. The gun is garbage. I can only get kills if I sneak up behind them and aim, and they are not moving and then maybe 50/50 I get the kill. 350 kills in and I suck bad with it. I am worried I will not be able to get the 10 bloodthirsty medals. The range is not what people made it out to be...oh it is good, but unless the person is not moving I get nothing...

Yup, the lag can be a problem. Try "sweeping the scope." Shoot while swinging your gun sights from the left to the right of their body.

The lag really is a huge issue. I remember I used to complain about turning the corner and dying, but there I turn the corner, get 5 steps, and I still die.

Last night may have been the worst lag I've experienced so far. I was ready to snap the disc in two. After EVERY replay of me dieing (which was often) it never once showed me shooting... only getting shot at.

It's just so random. You never know which game it will be, until that first guy one shots you, then you might as well quit then, or find a good camping spot because you're not getting the drop on anyone.

I will try that...

The thing is, with the FAL single fire, I have none of these problems....I know you can spam the FAL, but I always take people out with the first two shots, maybe three..

The KSG did not get the hit markers. It might have been just a bad night for lag. It just sucks to be near level 6 prestige...and average near a 2.0 K/D ratio up to this point on kill confirmed...but go .80 K/D with the KSG after so many games...

well tonight I just did great with the KSG..I still hate it, and I still lose most fights...but I put on ghost..and a suppressor and just moved around behind the enemy. I only need 3 more bloodthirsty and about 12 revenge medals and I am done with this thing...I also was able to bring my K/D with the weapon up to 1.03...

I'm a CoD vet but feel like such a noob when I use the target finder. I love it though, always do well when I use it.

Not a big TF user, but it does work great on light machine gun classes.

I started playing Hardcore Kill Confirmed last night and it's a lot more fun. I'm trying to get diamond camo on shotguns and it seems that this is the only way to get the last shotgun done.

I'm working on the Scorpion now. This is another gun I can't do with both attachments and perks off so it will take a little longer. It's my last SMG before diamond.

I'm not sure if I'm going to try for LMG diamonds. I have a very hard time getting headshots with them.

I changed my score streak rewards to: UAV, sentry and AGR... in one match last night I had 3 sentries and 2 AGRs running at once

I literally followed my AGRs and picked up the 15 or so tags they left behind.

Diamond blitches!

I am glad that is over. Overall I would rank from the shotguns as

1: R870 MCS--this thing is maybe overpowered on some maps..

2: S12--not a bad room clearing weapon...just bad range..

3: M1216--it was a good gun, just weaker range and damage vs the S12, and I seemed to be able to spam the s12 as quick as the fire rate on this..and have 14 shots with the s12 vs 4 and a pause..so I rank this lower

4: KSG...fuck this piece of shit...actually by the end I got my K/D positive with it, but still I hated it.

I am going to mess around with the smg's now. What has been everyone's favorite smg so far?

also Hardcore is shit as far as I am concerned....I played it a lot to get diamond on my shotguns...

As I said above, shotguns are not that good in hardcore. Since every weapon kills in one or two shots, the close power of the shotgun is evened out with the other weapons...and then when you consider the range limit of the shotguns you can see the problem. In the end I put on a suppressor, and ghost, and blind eye, and cold blooded and got around that way to get my kills.

Overall there are a lot more asses playing hardcore. I understand killing your team from time to time...I never got kicked for team killing, but it happened to a lot to other players. What I don't like is how your team can destroy your stuff. Time and time again I would get a sentry gun and put it out, and some sniper on my team was mad I guess for stealing his kills so he would blow it up. Over and over and over this happened.

Also it seems very standard in hardcore for everyone to lay down and camp until a uav is up. It is frustrating, especially when you play with a shotgun.

Good video. I was noticing the lag comp in my games this morning, literally dying before I could see people in the theater I watched afterwards.

it is the reason I do so much better with lightweight...moving fast around corners gives you a huge advantage...and is also a reason some people have a lot of luck with knives and shotguns..

once I started playing more aggressively, lag stopped being a problem for me...sure it still sucks at times but I seem to get the better of it more than not..

every once in a while you will see a guy shooting across the map, disappearing and reappearing every few seconds 10 yards further along. Surprisingly enough the guys who like to knife it up seem to benefit the most from this.

I feel like the knife is just about worthless in this game.

I have been loving the KSG though. I use it like a FAL and it works wonders. I'm about a 2.00 KDR using it on hardcore.
