re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo

I had a chance to try Game &Wario. I loved the picture mini game. It was great use of the game pad (taking pictures with the pad pointed at the screen). It's too bad that companies aren't coming up with cool games to use the feature. It was be cool implementation for a sniper riffle in an FPS.

I've always hoped Nintendo would developed Nintendo Paintball, a Nintendo themed FPS with all their characters like Smash Bros.

Oh well, a better pack in game and $300 price would probably get me to bite.

No, but the extra storage space is.

That 90's arcade racer title extremely reminded me of Sega's Virtua Racing and Daytona.

Road to Redemption, yeah that looked pretty good.

I thought it was already released on XBLA, but that was actually Ride to Hell: Retribution

I put so much time into the SuperNES version of this, it was amazing.

What would be great is a new Pilotwings. Isn't it overdue? There were rumors of a Gamecube version way back when, but it never panned out.

Put a real-time map on the second screen and I think they'd have a winner.

I loved the SNES version when I was a kid. Hell, my dad was probably the biggest fan of the game in our house. The 3DS version never really hooked me the way the original did.

C'mon, it's Nintendo. You should be thankful that the update scheduled for summer 2013 isn't coming out next year instead.

Crossposting this to the Video Game Deals thread also. BB has Tank! Tank! Tank! for $20, and if you subscribe to @Gamer you have a $20 off coupon in this issue (July/August 2013) making it free.

Yeah for the base multiplayer game, and then you can buy all of the DLC for $32.00.

Grabbed the last copy of Tanks!x3 at BB. Thanks for the heads up. Now they just need to drop their ZombieU price to make that $20 coupon worthwhile.

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo

In other Wii U sales news, Amazon has several different sellers offering Need for Speed Most Wanted U for $26.98 , and they're Amazon-fulfilled so you can take advantage of Prime too.

This is the lowest it's ever been, at least with Amazon fulfillment. It's also the first Wii U game I've bought in four and a half months!

That does look awesome. But these are just the Prima guides? Are they re-releasing the games or something?

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo

But still, Prima guides...

I have a Wind Walker one somewhere, and I have a hardcover Twilight Princess guide. I don't remember them being all that great, or above and beyond the normal Prima guide that eventually get's clearanced out for 1c. Nobody in their right mind would pay this to actually use the guides, which means it's just a bunch of collectors/resellers. At least Hyrule Historia had some interesting content. And on top of that, no prime shipping?
