Has anyone else had an issue where when you are watching TV when its connected to the XBOX ONE its freezes? almost like its buffering?
if so how have you corrected it?
i thought it was just ESPN, but it was all the stations. it would be normal for 15-20 seconds then freeze for a bit then resume for a bit and freeze again...
any input would be greatly appreciated

Only way it turns on is wired. I initiated a return already. Thankfully, I had already purchased a second controller.

So I think my console has the leafblower Blu-ray drive issue. I haven't heard it do it again, but once after powering it on, it was making that noise, until I turned it off. It hasn't happened again yet though. Has anyone else noticed it come and go?

Does the XBONE not do 5.1 sound? It shows 5.1 uncompressed as an output option, but in Netflix, cable control, and DR3, it seems like stereo (NF and cable I'm positive are stereo instead of 5.1).

Powerstar Golf is rad. It's simple 3-click, courses are basic, but interesting enough (Actually, I'm still only one the first) and the cloud stuff is great (which EA has done in the past already). But I think it'll be a nice pick up and play game for those quiet nights where other games might be too much.

Can I just say how awesome it was to turn on my console, search for the golf game, buy it and then turn my console off without even touching a controller. I actually did it all while putting on and tying my shoes, barely even looking at the screen. These voice controls are amazing.

So is this thing supposed to be on for the better part of the day? Like even when you're just watching tv? If I'm watching tv or listening to music, then decide to play a game, then my son is watching tv and my wife will watch tv or whatnot.
Basically the thing was on for 12 hours straight last night. But it wasn't hot at all. In fact it was barely warm.

Same for me, and since I ordered it using the 20% off deal they had back in August, I ended up getting it for $37. Not bad!

I know they mentioned they weren't requiring demos. I just assumed that many games would still have them - especially the arcade titles.

Just now started Assassin's Creed. Beautiful game but it stutters more than I ever expected. Thought it might only happen during cutscenes but that sadly is not the case.
