ok, i googled. i did. unfortunately, my One didn't come with a manual and can't find an online manual. can someone direct me to an online manual with detailed set-up instructions? please and thank you.

i really need to know where to put the Kinect sensor and how to stabilize it if i can't screw it in and can the One connect wirelessly to a router or do i need an ethernet cable?

You can get a TV mount. I keep mine in front of my TV stand. You can basically keep it anywhere, but centered above/below the screen is generally what you're looking for.

Yes, it has built-in wifi.

There's a lot of information there if you dig in to the website some more and look at all the various links. This might be a better one to get you started.

Are there specific details you're looking for or unsure about? Everything should be pretty straight forward, especially given your TV set up. There's not much you need to know other then plug in HDMI, plug in power, plug in Kinect (if necessary), and away you go.

There are like 4 wires to plug in. If you need an extensive manual for that, maybe this is not the right system for you.

I had two codes, but in mine they were on the same card. I did get a second Assassin's Creed thing in the box, but it was just an ad for the (now extinct) Unity DLC.

sounds good. i just wanted to get a beat on actual setup and see if there was anything i could miss from a basic install. i am pretty good with setting up stuff, but with this Kinect thing and turning on stuff through it i just wanted to be sure before i actually setup tonight.

like i was a little confused with plugging my cable box into the One and seeing how that worked seamlessly. i want to be able to turn tv on using voice command and switch to a station and all that without the need for my remote...
