I purchased it on xbox.com. Try this link: http://store.xbox.com/en-CA/ then select the game. That's what worked for me.

Here's the direct US link, but it's the same link that's clickable in the right upper corner of my previous post.

Well that link works but now it won't let me buy it with either of my credit cards. I keep getting a "use of payment option" error. Strange thing is when I use the same card, I can make purchases on my 360 with no problems.

When you buy something online, does it automatically download to your primary XO? Because I don't see anything like a download queue to manage (amongst the many other "improvements" to the wbsite implemented by Microsoft since the XO launch).

The Harmony Touch remote seems to have dropped in price this last week. If the price cut holds until the end of the week, I'd like to pick one up.
Question for those who have one of these remotes: can I use the arrow keys to navigate the dashboard and select an app to launch? Does it fully control the Xbox (minus games of course) or is it fairly limited?
And can I set a shortcut on the remote to turn on my devices and also launch an app, like hulu or Netflix, or do I have to turn the Xbox on then navigate to my app and launch it.
Thanks.

I played the first five missions - Act 1- of Halo Spartan Assault tonight in about 45 minutes. I was surprised -- I thought it would play like a continual story from a twin-stick shooter perspective (like Alien Breed Trilogy). Instead they're tiny little bite-size missions with their own objectives (one might be escorting tanks, another surviving a horde). I guess I forgot that this was a Windows Phone game. I suppose it's designed to knock out a level in a matter of minutes. There are score goals and skulls you can activate to increase your score and your mission medals. But if the first five are an indication of mission length, you'll be done with all of them pretty quickly (though they are certainly replayable, and they might get more difficult and complex in later acts). The cool thing is that it really does feel like Halo despite being a twin stick shooter. All the enemies, guns, grenades, vehicles and armors that you expect are there (and the controls are second nature if you've played Halo before).
It also perpetuates that same overly-complex, overly-serious Halo narrative that I never fully grasped -- aliens are trying to kill me; that's the only motivation I ever needed. Here, amusingly, they make it all a "simulation" of previously fought battles so you don't mess up the canon, I suppose (or more likely so that you can justify replaying levels over and over again).
The game looks okay, though it's a little ironic that the first Halo game for the One is the worst-looking one since the original Xbox. It's not bad, but the character models don't look great. I wish it looked more like the characters in Halo Wars on the 360 -- now that's what Halo should look like from an overhead view. Sound, on the other hand is top-notch and totally appropriate for the Halo universe.
Is the game worth the $15 asking price? Probably only if you have friends to do co-op with. But it's Halo on the Xbox One -- that's going to be enough to sell it to the masses. I really need to play more to get a better idea of campaign length; the first act might be super short as an introduction. In either case, it is pretty cool to play some Halo as a twin stick shooter.

I don't know. I love me some Peggle, but really while Peggle 2 is fine, it feels more like an expansion than a sequel. It's enjoyable and cute, but it's not like it does anything that different than the original. If you don't have them yet, spend 99 cents on Peggle and another 99 cents on Peggle Nights on XBLA today instead. I really don't think Peggle 2 is anything worth jumping up and down for (though I do enjoy it).

If you don't have Forza 5 yet, it's $39.99 at Amazon and Target!

Not at all. You must use Xbox Music and Xbox Video. That's it. But I don't miss it. I'm using Amazon Video and Netflix just fine. Plus its really cool to split screen the TV App while playing a mindless shooter like COD or Battlefield.

So what are people using the split screen for? I was originally super stoked but none of the things I want to do can be snapped. I wanted to have Netflix in the side while I was playing something like Powerstar Golf. Or have Golf on the side with Netflix in the middle... neither work. ![Frown](/images/smilies/frown.gif)
So far I have found absolutely nothing worth using the snap feature.

Watching live football scores while gaming. That's the only functional use I've found.

Leaving work in an hour to pick up my Xbox up from Best Buy. I'm trying to decide which game to get. I've narrowed it down to BF4, Madden, ACBF, Ghosts.
I might get two by going to Toys R us for the Buy one get one 40% off sale.
