I downloaded and installed Lamplighters League on my PC yesterday. We'll see when I get around to playing it, but I need to make more use of my Game Pass subscription besides PowerWash Simulator.

I just put an hour into LL and I have almost two hours in. I'm loving it. I found another bug, if you turn off the volume it will randomly turn on and you have to fiddle with the volume level controls to shut it off again. And it crashes now and then. I hate the combat mechanics and the regrouping after every fight is a major hassle.

In spite of all that I'm playing it.

Also they have a world map where you choose missions and they don't tell you that if you gain a new character you have to read up on them before being able to go on another mission. I spent a few minutes on the missions screen wondering why I couldn't select one until I noticed the characters tab had an exclamation point

This is interesting, Dead Space Remake has been added 9 months after release vs 12 months from EA Pro to Gamepass.

It's always 9 months. Otherwise you would get NFL 23 just as NFL 24 was releasing instead of just after or around the Super Bowl.

Excited about the just-released city builder SteamWorld Build. I really enjoyed SteamWorld Dig years ago, and this game has gotten good reviews as well.

I have 30 months that don't expire but DSS is taking up all my gaming time. I may use a month here and there to play a game I must play (like I totally would have used a month on Starfield). Got them for $7 a month, I just didn't know I was going to get this hooked on DSS (and yes it's a gacha game but after I got tokens before it went f2p I haven't spent anything else at all on it I just play, a lot).

Couldn't resist the trailer. I have 2.5 years of $7 a month codes saved up that never expire but I was able to get a new code for $3.18 so I went with that just to check out Palworld and I guess I'll see what other stuff is there. Downloading!

OMG Palworld is hilarious. Best part when I hover over the sheep in the menu and it goes baa my 3 year old cracks up laughing. Not the other ones, just that one. I'll be buying this in the eventual sale. I usually try out games and hate them, it is not common for me to decide to buy after trying. I'm doing other games so I don't know if I'll play it at all, I just wanted to try it and add to wishlist for a sale.

I'm up to 43 minutes. Dreamlight Valley and Jupiter Picross will have to wait. For Dreamlight Valley I just have to buy out the shop (in-game currency) each day and find the 50 moonstones chest which is like 10 minutes then I'm done, Picross I'm just abandoning for now. Palworld is a blast. Gonna get as much playtime as I can in a month but for games I know I'll play a lot I don't like to use Gamepass so I'll play for a month then shelve for a sale.

I can't stop playing this game

It it SUCH a Pokemon ripoff, like oh that's that pokemon, and that's that pokemon, and there's Instructors vs Pokemon Trainers. And it's a blast. Kind of violent too. But you choose violence or grinding though.

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is out not. The first game, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion (no longer on GamePass) was great, so I’m looking forward to this.

I just finished this up. Unfortunately they changed it to a Roguelite shooter. It was still fine, but I was let down after really liking the first.

I heard about this game called Unpacking with rave reviews. It's on Gamepass and since I got a month, decided to try it out. It took longer to download than for me to play. It was horrid. You literally grab things from packing boxes and try to recreate what was happening at that point in time. Primitive controls. I lasted 2 minutes I think.
