Most are coming to Game Pass, too.
Not bad.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

That was a pretty terrific showcase. Definitely appreciated the emphasis on gameplay rather than "here's a full-CG teaser for a game that's coming out in four years". Very nicely paced. Respectably eclectic selection of games, especially after two big showcases of sci-fi-horror-in-an-abandoned-space-station.

I'm not sure how many of the games shown were for me, exactly, but a few takeaways:
  • Great to see that Redfall has a proper campaign and is solo-able, rather than the Left 4 Dead-like I assumed it was
  • I'm more excited about the Hot Wheels expansion for FH5, despite my initial pessimism (and bonus points for Me First and the Gimme Gimmes in the trailer!)
  • Forza Motorsport looks outstanding
  • I finally bought Persona 5 Royal on the PS4 late last year, and I guess I'm going to kick the can down even further (assuming that it's XBSX-enhanced anyway)
  • I'm kind of over Rick and Morty, but High on Life...? Sure, why not, especially since it'll be on Game Pass
  • Intrigued by Starfield but intimidated by the scope and scale; I'm not looking for a 200+ hour game
  • Lightyear Frontier caught my eye, although I can see it being a not-for-me game
  • Diablo IV's shared world components pretty much steered me away

Not much for me in that graphic. Closest would be As Dusk Falls, which sounds interesting. Not sure how you make a story driven game like Life is Strange 8-player though.

What happened to Hellblade 2? Wasn't that supposed to be this year?

I didn't get to see this but catching up. High on Life looks awesome, as a R&M fan.

Starfall looks like a mix of No Man's Sky and Mass Effect.

I don’t think there’s ever been an official release window. I’m sure we’ll see it at The Game Awards.

September will be the last month where 360 games are included in Games with Gold. After all these years, they're basically running out of 360 games to give away.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

hello All

Once again thinking of getting a XBox especially now with Gamescon and seems more games being added to Day One game Pass...saw High on Life as one, a game many say it's Pinocchio Meets Bloodborne with touch of Steampunk...scheduled for 2023 and Day One Game pass.....trying to convince a fellow PS Player who was also came over from XBox 360 to go back....what else say in the next 6 months is scheduled for Day One Game pass and what's the latest on Starfield Release Date?

....had thought of PC but prices are still up there ...well at least to me...the video card I'd like to have is still $100-$200 more than the XBox itself...

...I was looking up the Game pass details and saw something where if you get a New Xbox, 24 months of game pass is included?...and I didn't see anything about 6 month or Year Plans; seems like it's a month-to-month pay...correct?

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

^^ I've not seen anything about 24 months of Gamepass being included. I just bought a new Series X last week and I certainly didn't get that deal.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

That might be the Xbox All Access thing.
You finance the Xbox for two years and that includes game pass for the whole time. I think I did the math and for an XSX that wasnt a bad deal, assuming regular retail price on everything (you can often find discounts on game pass).

https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-all-access

Looks like saves 19$ or so over two years for XSX (again, off retail).

At least they're going out of the 360 era with an all-time great game!

I thought Double Kick Heroes was already a GWG title... but I guess it was on Game Pass previously.

Yea...when I was looking around, I saw this mentioned on official site and decided to look more into it. Yep, have to buy the XBox but it HAS TO BE FINANCED thru one place...you cannot use your Credit Card or any other means. Almost signing up for a new loan and commitment....

So if one goes with the XBox X plus 24 months of Game pass at $35.00 a month....and according to site Zero % APR....Taxes?...at least that's $840.00

So with the Console at $500.00...looks like you can nab a Annual Ultimate Game Pass for say $110.00 average....one is looking at around $730-$800 depending on Taxes....

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

Xbox has released a lower budget Elite Series controller. Same thumbs sticks, custom triggers and D pad, but no paddles, case, cable. On sale in white for $129.99, $50 less than the standard black one. The announcement says they have added the Elite Core model to the design lab which would be cool L, but I don't see it there yet.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

Just a quick post to say I finally broke down and bought an Xbox Series X to replace my Xbox One X and I have to say I have been floored by the load times and auto resume function. It made me wish I had bought one much sooner. Lightning speed and convenience does not aptly describe it.

That is all.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

For those probably asking the same thing, it has 12+ hour battery life as compared to the Steam Deck's 8 hours (when doing a comparable streaming task, playing Forza Horizon 5 locally on that thing sops it up in under 90 minutes).
