Starfield looks like No Man's Sky Elder Scrolls Mass Effect

Having watched the whole PS5 showcase and now watching this, I won't get to play a tenth of the games because I just don't have that much gaming time, but the XBOX definitely has more games I personally would love to play than the PS5 (well I use the PC).

I had little hype for Starfield before, but I’m in for this. It looks genuinely fun. I loved Fallout 3 and NV, but couldn’t get into Fallout 4 and never bothered with 76 or any of the Elder Scrolls games. I’m sure it’ll have the usual Bethesda jank, though

I can’t wait for Starfield. I usually hate spaceship combat in games, but the game giving your ship a targeting system like V.A.T.S from Fallout is a nice touch.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20
The black Xbox Series S with 1TB storage going for $349 is a huge mistake, IMO.
Nearly 3 years in, this thing should be the same price as the current Series S, which itself should be discounted to $249 or lower.
I was really hoping for a Series S Pro for $399, though. Meaning, a box that has all the same components as the Series X, but without a disc drive. Shit, if there was a Starfield version of that, It'd have sold ridiculous numbers, no doubt.
I don't know who this black Series S is actually for.
Other than that... it was a damn fine showcase overall. Lots of games I will absolutely try in Game Pass, and only a couple that I have no desire to play. Hell, even Fable had a few seconds of actual gameplay in it, but I don't think that game will come out until mid-2025 at best.
Starfield, though. That game's going to be a massive time-sink. And I can only imagine what the PC modding community is going to do with it.

I bought a cheap S from Verizon a while back but still in box because of a house remodel. Looks like I will be opening this sucker up to do some Starfield gaming in the bedroom!

Damn, missed the whole thing driving back this afternoon.
Gotta watch the Fable trailer.
What other ones (besides Starfield) looks cool?
My son is going to be stoked for the new Persona spin-offs.

Just like with the PlayStation showcase about half of these games will be multiplatform so everybody wins.

I feel like I've been burned by so many expensive collectors editions trinkets in the past that I have no faith that this watch is going to be any good. Plus Gamepass really does remove most of the FOMO from collectors editions (and I know they have a smaller collectors edition without the game but I still don't completely understand what you're getting with that besides a steelbook for no game and a patch)

- It includes the first DLC, Shattered Space, once that's released.

Yeah I'm not going to do the early access for money thing, and the DLC should be cheaper than that on its own, right?

I would expect it to be cheaper, yeah. But this is Starfield; if they can't make their money back with overpriced DLC, what are they going to do, raise the price of Game Pass?

Starfield Limited Edition Controller and Headset both available for purchase now. Reminder that you can fund your wallet with Costco gift cards and save 20%
I wish I needed a new controller or headset, as these are both nice, but I don't so I'm going to pass.

Overall I thought the show was pretty good with some surprises...Clockwork looked very interesting with Bioshock vibes. Star Wars; Outlaws also looked great....
Starfield presentation was about expected with a lot of indepth behind the scenes...However, every aspect they showed from the game was right out of No man's Sky, just with mor realistic visuals. Starfield will do great but the Locked 30FPS has a lot worried and some concerned. Doesn't make sense for a game that long in development and for PC and XBox....I'd take 60PFS with 1440P all day.....30FPS at 2160...hmmmm don't know....
