Is anyone playing the 3 days Server Test this weekend?

I’m leaning towards skipping it but who knows, I might get sucked in playing this again. Since we don’t get to keep any of our characters and gear, I might just wait until June 1st, to play the real game.

I am and know a few others are to....the changes they made are suppose to be in it. I pretty know and feel what The druid, Soceress and Rogue can do...I might do more with Barbarian to see since i didn't really get to some of his primary stuff. They upped some of his damage but same time upped the Fury Costs which they should've left alone. I'm glad for the Necro Skeleton Costs....basically didn't need any corpses to re-initialize...but Necro has other stuff and I might toy with him since he's my favorite in D3 and D2

Yep...also there will be...Set Items...much like the green Sets in Diablo 3 but those won't come till later. Just focus on playing the Story & Campaign....I know a lot out there are thinking ways to get around and just level up like they do in D3 with Adventure Mode then hop in Rifts and Speed level....but I'm looking foward to this Story & Lore more than ever and intend to play it as intended looking in every crack, space, dungeon I can find.....No rushing thru this; waited way, way to long for it...

I read that there's going to be 3 tiers of battle passes with plenty of limited items throughout to drive FOMO. I hope you all are preparing for the disgusting microtransactions this will have. Or, should say I hope you all are OK with missing out on limited items for the sake of your wallets.

I'm getting the Deluxe Edition. It comes with some sort of Battle Pass but I don't know what is included or if I will miss out on stuff if I haven't completed the campaign by a certain date.

If it tracks with other games, the battle passes will just be for the seasons. Not completing the campaign means you can't start the season 1 content but as long as you max your battle pass before season 1 ends, you should be fine to not miss anything (except the stuff in the other tiers of battle passes if you don't buy them as well).

Following the start of Diablo IV's first Season beginning in late July, all subsequent seasons will be introduced on a quarterly basis. The reason it's beginning over a month after the game releases is because you'll need to have first completed the main campaign before exploring the new content which will include new gameplay features, Legendary items, quality-of-life improvements, class balances, Battle Passes, and more. By using the Season Journey feature, you'll be able to complete each of the Seasonal Chapters by working through a number of different objectives in return for Legendary Aspects for the Codex of Power, crafting materials, and Favour for the Battle Pass.

Each Season will introduce a fresh Battle Pass containing 27 free tiers filled with cosmetics and Smoldering Ashes — a resource for purchasing seasonal perks for your character — and 63 Premium Tiers containing unique cosmetics and Platinum currency. The Premium Tier is designed to be completely optional, but there will be two variants available to you: a Premium Battle Pass that will cost 1,000 Platinum (roughly $9.99) and an Accelerated Battle Pass for 2,800 Platinum (around $24.99). The Accelerated Battle Pass will include an additional 20 Tier skips and a special cosmetic item.

I kind of want to cancel my Deluxe Edition and pay an additional $10 for the Ultimate Edition so I don't miss out on the cosmetics due to the time crunch. Don't know if Sony will let me do that. Will have to call them...

I would be very surprised if the game didn't let you upgrade your battle pass to Premium after launch, before season 1 starts. If there's a way for Blizzard to get your money, it's in the game.

you get an exclusive horse mount if you get to level 20 and beat a world boss by 12pm tommorrow EST. I'm not sure i'm going to have time to do it, I'm going out drinking tonight, so I'd have to finish up by 9am PST tomorrow. MIGHT be able to pull it off.

Just got back from her party and told my husband I have to go be antisocial for a day to recover from all that socializing.

Edit: I just ran around the map for 10 minutes and realized there's a marking that tells you where to go next

So I'm not going to be able to do much by tomorrow morning it was a busy week so I'm not even gonna try but in ten minutes I saw enough that I want to put 10 years into this game before I move on to Diablo 5.

I got to Level 20...with barb...but I didn't even bother trying the World Boss....back with the first Beta, it was made clear and known, don't even try the World Boss unless you're 23-25.....I went in at 18 I think and died like 8 times. If one went back and looked at the Boss Stats, it's understandable the amount of Player Deaths that occurred. I have no idea why they capped it a Level 20 this weekend knowing that.....plus the "Ultimate Skills" can't be reached this time around either which was disheartening. I wanted to take the barbarian all the way so to unlock Call of the Ancients and Berserker since those two alone are huge with Barb Builds in Diablo 3...

Just as well. ... this seems pretty rough. We got to 20 last night and gave it a try, had about 15-20 people there trying to kill that thing. Died a bunch of times, and we only got him to about 50% before we ran out of time and he escaped. Gonna try again today at 9am, but if there aren't a TON more people there, there is just no way.

I got lucky. Zoned in and it was already at half. Maybe 15-20 people but we were able to do it. Was not fun.
