Read the fine print...."save $10 instantly when you buy both 1 and 2".

I called my ToysRUs earlier and asked about price-matching, and they said they don't pricematch other stores, but they do pricematch toysrus.com or babiesrus.com.

hmm! i think 16 for both is a awesome deal! how much is it at TRU with the break down, but w/o the preorder, cause i dont' get how the preorder works.

Basically, it's 2 bucks cheaper at TRU, even if you don't pre order anything else or try to stack with other coupons (which you could probably get away with at TRU).

With the Pre-order, you can get an additional $20 off of a third Disney title, which you pick up at the time of the pre-order. You place a $5 deposit for each title when you pre order them. It's actually very easy, you walk in, pick up a pre order card, pick up another movie, walk to the register, pay your $10 deposit and get $20 off of your other movie.

This is the route I'm going with the hopeful added benefit of price-matching Fry's to get the discs down to $19.97, which should bring my total to $10. Not gonna fuss with trying to add an extra coupon. Also, Night at the Museum and Ice Age 2 are on sale and I have a $20 gift card, so I might pick up those as well. My son will be well cared for this month between Ponyo, Princess and the Frog, and these. Then I'm going to Movie Trading Company with a bunch of stuff to hopefully get myself some Criterions, woohoo!

You could try using the $5 coupons with them, but if you pre-ordered at TRU, it's gonna end up with them owing you money, which probably won't fly.
Maybe use the Redplum $16 coupon to buy another BR (Astro Boy / New Moon?) to offset any negative payout?

Looking at these $10 coupons, I can't imagine how a store could deny using both of them. You guys just gonna take the whole printed page?

I meant why do they give that additional $5 that isn't advertised but listed as "Disney Promo" on my receipt?

Yep. Two separate coupons for two separate products. Anybody that is given any trouble from any cashier needs to immediately ask for a manager.

Who would they pricematch? Don't they already have the best price?

Just printed both my upgrade coupons, no problem.

They give you $5 off a title if you pre-order one Toy Story release, and $15 off if you pre-order both. But their system is glitching and giving both discounts.

No, it is not right.

If going the pre-order route as you mention.

Pre-order both titles at TRU

Buy another Pixar/Disney film and get $20($15 + $5 computer is adding incorrectly) off that title, if you have another specific coupon for that one like the $8 upgrade coupon use it

Tuesday, use the 2 $10 coupons when you pick up Toy Story 1 and 2

That's basically it. You aren't guaranteed that TRU will take 2 coupons per item, but they generally do. Maybe add some filler items so it doesn't go below zero.

Also, you get $20 off another Disney title at time of pre-order.

TRU is right across the street from where I work so I'll stop by there before work in the morning. I'll take both the $10 and $5 coupons to see if I can use both which should bring my total down to $4 for both if they won't let me use both then I'm cool with that and will be happy with $14 for both.

I'm actually going to pick up 2 copies of each. 1 set for my son and then another for nephew and niece whose birthday it is in 2 weeks - they haven't seen either and can't wait til TS3 hits the theaters.

No. when you pick them up. And don't give all four coupons if it will bring your total below zero.

No. They won't even take them until you pay the balance on the two TS movies which won't be available until tomorrow.

If you want to use your $20 credit on PATF you can bring the $10 off coupon for that title.

If you are not planning on getting anything else, the only reason I would say to pre-order if going TRU route would be to ensure you get a copy in case say they run out. I DOUBT they will run out but you never know and I would assume they would hold back the amount of pre-orders taken at the store.

You're only missing out on $20 off a title today. But why not pick up a Disney DVD for free? Lots of Disney DVDs are $20 or less. Good for a gift, or trade, or sell. [sarcasm]Or perhaps a gift to the person that saved you all this money? [/sarcasm]

right but pre-ordering will make me pay $5 out of pocket today for each - wouldn't that put me below $0 on tuesday if i used the $10 and $5 coupons for each title?
