Exactly. Do this. It is potentially a lot of work up front (depending on the size of your wish list) but you only need to do it once and update as needed. After that when these sales pop up it only takes a few seconds to see what is in stock from your list. Well worth it.

Thanks for that. Finally managed to snag a used copy of American Graffiti in stock for $8.01, as well as a couple of other BDs for $4.84 and $3.77 (including shipping and sales tax). I like those codes that don't require a minimum purchase number.

Now that I've finally purchased it, I suppose that American Graffiti will go on sale at Amazon for $5 on Black Friday!

Create a wish list on the site. I finally did a few months ago and it helped immensely. You can tell in a few seconds if anything in your wish list is in stock when one of these sales starts. In fact I go back and re-check several times during the sale as things pop in and out of stock all the time. Remember, the used items require someone else to trade a title in before it can be in stock again (though occasionally I have gotten new copies when ordering used).

I literally came here to post this same thing! I've been tracking this one for a long time, but even at 30% off I'll pass. As you mention, even if I bit there would be a re-release announced the next day. I'll just keep mowing along at standard def DVD until then.

All the newer releases are back in stock. But even with 35% off prices are no where close to what BF prices will be. No wonder all of these are still in stock at this time of the day. Every one must be waiting for the BF deals. I'm just hoping I can get them from Amazon if they PM.
