The Lover is very arty and dry but has lots of simulated sex. Also stars the great Tony Leung. Looks like the edition DDD is selling is the Unrated one which has even... more... simulated... sex.

I think I enjoyed Color of Night more because it was actually pretty campy. I actual saw it in a theater and would probably watch it again.

Yeah, even I considered picking it up even though I have never watched one episode of Buffy especially with all the good words about it.

But then I considered some important questions: Does this have repeat value? What if I hate it? When will I have the time to actually watch 7 seasons more than once? Why not just Netflix them?

Hmm… you’re right, Cronos looks like a really good movie and a decent DVD with some extras on it. That’ll be the one I pick up though I’d still like to learn a little more about Ni Vivo, Ni Muerto. Sdmike, after you watch it, if you don’t mind, either send me an email telling me whether or not it was any good or start a thread about it in the movie forum.

Oh, OK. The Official Story is a story about the Argentinean “dirty war” though it sounds like from a different angle.

You might also like “Open Your Eyes” (very good movie) and “The Devil’s Backbone” (an OK movie). Nine Queens was a really good movie, though way overpriced at this time ($22.xx). Also take a look at Thesis though this movie is apparently not offered at DDD.

The movie Vanilla Sky is pretty much a scene by scene remake of Open Your Eyes though I personally like the original much better.

OK, I see that you already know about Tae Guk Gi, it was a very good movie and had a bunch of stuff on the DVD if I remember right (I had rented it).
