However, I really wanted the DVD storage shelves that hold up to 620 DVD's for $127 after discount and decided to give BML another shot for just that itme and apparantly it worked because I placed the order Wednesday and supposedly shipped yesterday from the vendor.
I know my first BML order was for less then $100. I believe they gradually raise your limit based on your past payment history. I recall not being able to go over $90 when they first approved me but after 6 months of ongoing payments (way over the min.) and a few more orders, I'm currently carrying a $200 balance.

I've used it at a couple of other merchants as well.

I remember that Christmas in August was hot last November and this year it seems that Cemetery Man leads the way as the "hot stock tip." However, it seems that The Three Burials of Melquiades or Beyond the Valley of the Dolls could be the leading dark horse candidates this year. I ordered all three to hedge my bets.

What have I overlooked? What is your number one pick for that last $15-$16 swimming around at the bottom of your wallet or couch?
I'd go with a few cheaper titles: 29th Street $4.76, Bad Company $5.08, & State of Grace $7.54. All three would be $17.38

andAh well, to each his own.
I have never thought of Cemetary Man as a "horror-comedy".... Far too somber, maybe it could be considered a dark comedy, but I never approached it as such...

Does not require assembly??? Good luck ;p Otherwise, I'd say the 1080 Oskar shelves rock.

I do not believe this to be true. I believe you are charged whatever the price was when you initially ordered, regardless of when your order ships. Past experience with getting prices adjusted after an item has dropped in price has made me painfully aware of this, hehe.

I finally made an order. I'm holding back big time this year after overloading on Criterions last fall.

DDBVD041125D SCRUBS-3RD SEASON 1 $22.28
DDMCA020470D TOUCH OF EVIL 1 $7.58
DDPRD004120D STALAG 17 (CE) 1 $11.88
DDPRD012567D ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ 1 $4.82
DDPRD089427D DAYS OF HEAVEN 1 $4.82

Tax: $3.73
Shipping Price: $0.00
Order Total: $55.11

I live in Illinois now so I get taxed. Not a big deal though because the orders come quicker since I live close.

Time to close DVDTalk for the next day to avoid ordering anything else.

I strongly disagree with that. The Dead Zone is a quality show, and well worth $15 the first three seasons are going for. That's a steal.

Well, then I'll cast the first vote for The Dead Zone, and add that I don't care for Buffy at all. I tried watching it many times, and never saw the appeal.

Here is a second vote for The Dead Zone. Buffy failed to make a favorable impression upon me.

Impressive. I don't know how you managed to find so much to buy, especially considering that you spent almost $1000 just in November, hehehe. I had a hard time finding stuff that I wanted this time around, as I purchased most of what I wanted during the last three 20%-off sales. I mostly bought the newest seasons of shows I've already started this time around.

The only shipping mishap, aside from not receiving 2 big packages at all and having to reinstate the order WEEKS after the sale was over, was getting doubles of one title I wanted and another title completely missing. So they must have done a headcount and put the same title in twice by mistake. The extra copy I had was worth more than the missing title, so I kept the extra..

The last time I ordered, I usually open the package from the bottom, in case I have to send it back, so the address label on the top would be intact. This time, I didnt do that, and they had all the paper on top which didnt make sense, and the tv boxsets were on the bottom, getting crushed by the regular keepcases. That kind of packing is really aggravating, since the weight of a boxset alone and placed sideways is heavy enough to do alot of damage to the
box corners.

I bought the American Astronaut last year (weird, scifi musical film) for a good price, but isn't available at the site anymore.

I remember it was odd that it was sealed but had a tower records sales tag on it.

Is that title OOP?

Can anyone think of anymore good cheap boxsets, (non-tv) worth picking up? I have picked up all the WB ones, and the Robert Greenwald boxset and Errol Morris set, which I all recommend.

I wish the cart or order receipt at DDD enabled hyperlinks so we could just paste them to the thread, as there were lots of titles I was interested in seeing what they were
and had to jump back and forth to search on the site.

Thanks for all the tips and recommendations.

THanks again to DDD for taking my nondeductible disposable income.

considering 2nd order of Farscape starburst 1 - 10, Freddy & Aliens...
but does anyone know for certain if the starburst editions are 2 or 4 discs? Someone in the 1st or 2nd thread said only their 1.x (1.1 I think) edition was 2 disc, but the rest were 4. *can only find info specifying starburst .10 is 4 discs.

I recall not being able to go over $90 when they first approved me but after 6 months of ongoing payments (way over the min.) and a few more orders, I'm currently carrying a $200 balance.

I've used it at a couple of other merchants as well.
I've used BML at DDD and Overstock so far. I don't think it matters what your credit history is, I think it matters how long you've been with them personally and whether you've made your payments on time. I've always paid my balances in full each month.

In the beginning though it was kind of hit or miss with me - last November I had a few orders declined - but you can just keep trying smaller purchases until they go through. With the 90 day offer this time, I made 4 orders using BML.

They let me get away with over $600 this time. But I don't know if that's good, or bad.
