Has anyone ever purchased this dvd rack CDV 1500 MULTI-MEDIA STORAGE-OAK: ACC?

A couple of questions, is it sturdy and when they deliver it will the deliveryperson actually unload it and bring it in the house (you know those dreaded union rules)?

I didn't realize that this was finally being released. I saw it many years ago while on a flight to Europe, great movie and, of course, slightly predates Groundhog Day.

I own this, and they do bring it into the house but only like a foot. It's heavy as hell. It's sturdy but the directions suck and mine actually broke, but glueing it together and screwing the backs in made it sturdy. I would recommend building the shelves into the bottom instead of how they tell you to do it. I like it alot and actually considering getting another since mine is full. For the price and the amount of dvds it holds its nice.

How good is DDD at shipping items on backorder? I'm coming in pretty late on the sale, and I noticed several dvds listed on backorder. As long as they're not OOP, do they normally get more in stock and ship them to you at a later time?

I got it (thanks to kind advice here) for $28 on buy.com, using google checkout ($38-$10). I think the DDD price is $43-20$=$34ish. So save some $$$

They're very good about it. Even if you have 4 items, all of which come in several different days apart, they'll ship you each item as it becomes available, even if it costs them more for the various shipments. And it's been my experience that their backorder dates err on the side of caution and are usually in stock sooner than the listed date.

for anyone who has looked at or considered buying Subversive Cinema's Dust Devil LE, you should know that it is actually 5 discs and not 3. It has the DC of the Film, the work print, the 2 documentaries mentioned, and the soundtrack. it also has inserts for the film and 2 docs. pretty good value for the money.

hmmmm.........oh well, i preordered it from xploited, just figured it was a good deal on DDD. I guess since its 2.76 cheaper at planet, as long as you arent spending that much more on whatever title you are getting to get the free shipping..............

SO on tuesday we got, Seinfeld: Season 7, Da Ali G Show: Compleet Sereez, and The Complete ALIAS collection (Which for some reason DDD doesn't seem to be offering. I would much rather order this set from DDD than Amazon. Hopefully they'll have it put up by tues.)

I'm seeing banners for this sale everywhere on the internet this time around. I've even seen them on torrent sites that I visit.

I'm shocked that I haven't seen anyone buy Joyeux Noël yet. I wasn't aware that it even came out this week until earlier tonight, so maybe that's the case with some of you guys also. Click here for the IMDB review.

You can also get it for a few bucks cheaper at other places, like DVDPlanet right now, but I figured that some of you would've tossed it in your big DDD orders.
