Select the title and do a preview on DVD Profiler... it says "Single Sided, Single Layered". Profiler is right far more often than not IMO, so I believe them, they are DVD-5's.

I got one of my orders Wednesday and the Bogart/Bacall "The Big Sleep" was the flipper disc version (both 1945 Prerelease Version and 1946 Theatrical Release) even though it wasn't clear from the description AND the e-mail response from DDD was that the flipper version is no longer available. Great film and interesting DVD because it chronicles the reshots made as their real life relationship developed.
Previously I've noticed that DDD descriptions are often suspect.

I've noticed that as well. Just in my most recent orders they had the Munsters - 2 Movie Fright Fest listed as 2 discs yet when it arrived it's both movies on a single DVD -- non-flipper. Also, the documentary The Munsters - America's First Family of Fright makes no mention of it being a 2 disc set but it is.

um, ive bought from DDD before and ive never had to wait for an automated email order confirmation this long before. is it normal because of the high volume of sales right now (which still doenst make sense to me because its all automated).

Interestingly, I didn't have to enter a coupon code when I placed the second order. It just came up with the discount applied in the cart. And they did charge me the discounted price. I was expecting to input another code but not necessary. Weird.

If you didn't get the confirmation email, and it isn't showing in your order status, you might have to re-order. This happened to me a while back while the system burped while I was placing my order. I called and they did now show that I had ordered.

Will probably place another order with some Christmas presents. And I'm being tempted by a number of tv box sets (Prisoner, Star Trek: OS, Star Trek: animated, BSG, Incredible Hulk, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, Ali G, Buck Rogers, Millenium). But really ... when you've still got unwatched box sets from the last sale, it's hard to justify much more.
