email DDD and tell them that you'll need to send the set back in exchange for another one. they'll email you a return label within 24 hours and a RA#. fill out the label, put the set in a box (use the one they sent your order in), tape the label to the box and put it in the mail. if you live in the US then the postage is pre-paid.

Interesting stuff going on with the shipping with my orders. My first order I placed during the sale (West Wing complete set) shipped on the 11th, but I haven't gotten it yet. Today, I received the order I placed on Monday night (shipped 11/16) and a pre-order I ordered a few weeks ago, that shipped on 11/14. But they sent the wrong item on that pre-order (I ordered Best of Match Game, they sent Gilmore Girls season 6). Hopefully that WW set isn't lost (but since I'm going on vacation tomorrow morning, I won't find out for about 1.5 weeks).

I paid for expedited shipping for my "Homicide: Complete Series" to protect it from the long 4-week media mail delivery to Hawaii. It was shipped UPS Ground on 11/18 with an expected delivery date of 11/29. Not too expedited if you ask me.

You save more if you get the Bogart Collection V.02 rather than getting the 3 disc Maltese Falcon separately, but it comes without the the new packaging, just the keepcases.

Also a word on the Bogie/Bacall set, or really any of the WB Signature sets.

They're all just prepackaged dvds with a new box. Pretty much all barebones, except for the newer ones like the Capra or Reagan one. I ordered the Bogie/Bacall boxlast sale, and they didnt even bother repackaging it, they just put a new box over the OLD snapcases that dont even completely fit in the box.


Got the new Transformers dvd with my 1st order, but I thought there was a new hologram slipcover. Did anyone get that one?

This is one of the reasons that I didn't buy it from DDD. With so many people ordering it (I think someone figured it was in the top five or ten titles listed in people's orders here), I wouldn't be surprised if they went through all of the hologram stock and had to reorder.

The other reason, of course, is the nifty Autobot iron-on that comes with the WalMart DVD.

Of course, the reason I haven't bought it from WalMart is that I haven't yet decided that a "free" Autobot iron-on and a guaranteed hologram cover are worth ~$4.43 plus tax on $14.95. (My mileage varied from the $12.99 I heard reported in some areas.) Decisions, decisions....

My discount disappeared when I placed my order. Did that happen to anyone else? I called and the CSR said that the computer was removing the discount if you used it more than once, (even if different codes were used) but said she'd be glad to credit the differance once I had an order number.

Just a warning to check your final total. I can't beleive that they are removing the discount for all double (or triple, or quadruple...) orders on the final screen.

I am thinking of placing a fourth order using a different code. I am worried they will remove the discounts after you place the order. Is that legal for them to do so?
I mean when you place the order the final price with the discount shows up and that's like a contract. They can not just go back and modify the price after the fact right? The thing about DDD is they will not allow cancellation or modification of order on items in stock. If they are not going to give the discount, I will probably not place a fourth order.
