buy from deepdiscount.com thru buy.com, 20% prices reflected already thru this link. check out, use Google Check out. $10 off "first time users".

note: not everything available on DD is here thru this link. Otherwise I could have saved some money or tax, as I am in Illinois..

GRRRR! just checked and the Saw trilogy is not longer coming up as offered from deepdiscount. hence not %20 off.

Man, I've abused that BUY.COM $10 Off Google Checkout coupon more times than Mike Tyson abused Robin Givens.

My three HD DVDs came in a bubble mailer from DD and I wasn't happy when I saw them in my mailbox. I was expecting disc to be floating all over the place, but I was lucky, the cases and disc were not damaged.

Sorry, I'm joining this thread at the last minute so I had to wait until the end of the sale to place an order.

Is EVERYTHING ALREADY marked at 20% off? Or are the 20% off prices taken after checkout? Wasn't 100% sure.

And, will this work on pre-orders?

Oh for fuck's sake, relax. It was just a joke. I haven't posted any information on how to defraud anyone, unlike DVDtalk reps who often go to great lengths to discourage anyone from exposing certain sponsors who engage in very deceptive and fraudulent business practices. I guess fraud is acceptable if DVDtalk can make money from it. If speaking the truth gets me banned from this forum, so be it.

As far as I doknow preorders don't count, at least from what i've seen.

What i can be sure of is that the 20% off comes at the end when you input one of the codes located on the front page.

Happy shopping

To the posters here, i received a part of my DD order this morning, but it happens to be the third part of my big order that shipped. Not sure what happened to the other two, hopefully they are on their way.

I received 3 manga all in a box.

No.

Once you've entered a code in the space provided in your cart, the discount will show up as a "Promotional Discount" in the order total calculations.

To get the discount you *must* use one of the codes (listed in the first post of this thread) which are all "one-use" type codes.

Use the code DVDTALK for your largest order (or only order) to help support this site.

And, will this work on pre-orders?
No.

I ordered Kingdom of Heaven BD on June 5 when the sale went live briefly, it shipped the next day, and I have yet to receive it. But I've received a different DVD I ordered a week later. I'll wait the requisite 30 days before calling them, but it will not be the first time an order never made it to me during previous sales. I'm done with DD.

It says on their site to send an email if you don't get it by the estimated date. I did that and the next day they said that if it doesn't show up in the mail that day to let them know and then they'll start the refund or ship another out.

tldr: You don't need to wait 30 days.

Here is my Order Status:

First Order: Shipped June 12th
Second Order: Shipped June 12th
Third Order: Shipped June 12th
Fourth: Shipped June 16th - Received Today
Second Order (Backordered part): Shipped June 16th - Received Today
Third Order (Backordered part): Shipped June 24th
First Order (Backordered part): Shipped June 24th
Firth Order: Shipped: June 26th

The ones I received today were by Airmail. I gather the first three large orders were sent Media mail (ground). They don't put "Estimated Arrival" dates on Canadian orders. I hope I get them next week.

Got my Christi Taylor Cardio Collectibles DVD today. Now I'm just waiting on the things ordered this week, the Gilad Express Workouts and Seasons 5, 6, and 7 of Star Trek Voyager. Seasons 5 & 6 shipped yesterday (supposedly) and Gilad Express Workouts shipped a couple of days ago. Still waiting for season 7 to come in stock.

You're already past 10 business days on shipping. Make them reship it.

I had an order ship 6/17 - nothing yet and I am in the same local area. Pathetic as usual.

I think it has been established that you can't blame all the delays on DD. Lets face it media mail has some thing to say about when things are delivered. My first order was placed June 16, shipped June 17th and received June 26th (eight business days). I live on the east coast (Maryland). It could very well be that just the mid-west that is having problems.

My first and only order shipped on 6/9 and I have still not received it. I have e-mailed them about reshipping but haven't received confirmation on it yet. But this is the third time this has happened to me with DD so I can tell you that they are very good about reshipping
