As for the Rohmer set, I'm glad I used my store credit to get it from DVD Planet during this sale. I've already received and watched it.

Got all 4 of my boxes today (3 from DVDPlanet/ 1 from DeepDiscount). My first order supposedly shipped on 6/6, so it took 19 days to get here. At least they got here, and in good shape.

I got all my orders at last. Only thing I'm waiting on it if I can return my copy of The Deer Hunter HD since it won't load or play. I'm hoping that Deep can get me another copy of the DVD or at least give me credit for it.

The Best Of Modern Marvels - $60.78 (next cheapest price is $85.45 at CD Universe... DVD Planet had it for $0.80 cheaper after same discount but I forgot to look... I'm too embarrassed to ask DDD for a pricematch ).

That's it for this time around. The Twilight Zone box should keep me occupied for a while.

I hate that Buy.com. I don't normally order from them because they have outrageous shipping to Hawaii, but I figured since the item ships from Deep Discount, it would work. No dice -- I go all the way to the end and it tells me Google Checkout cannot be used for shipments to my address. I could use it before for Google CO from other vendors!

My HD DVDs of Slither, Mallrats and Serenity arrived today 6/25/08. They were shipped on 6/13/08.

I have a remaining order of about 14 movies that shipped on 6/17/08, I won't expect them until sometime in July. Not too worried about it.

I'm not sure but I know that the collection was canceled and then re-released by Warners. There were 2 problems with the set. The Shining had cover art was the art from the single release and didn't match the other movies in the set. Also, Eyes Wide Shut had incorrect information on the back (said the rated version was included in addition to the unrated version).

Does anyone know how they've [DD] been shipping Criterion digipaks? I have Mishima, Patriotism, and Playtime coming, and if they're in bubble mailers... sighhh. I might lose it.
