How do I make sure I get all widescreen dvds when I sign up? The customer support # doesn't let you talk to a live person since I don't have an account # =/

Also can anyone tell me if any of the following are oop and how much they are? I am hoping that the two pirates movies are widescreen and 2 disc... Thanks!

Aladdin: Special Edition
The Fox And The Hound 25th Anniversary Edition
The Incredibles - Widescreen
Monsters, Inc $21.95
Pocahontas 10th Anniversary Edition
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Robin Hood: Most Wanted Edition
Toy Story $21.95

I think I covered all your questions. If not just ask again.

Aladdin: Special Edition $21.95 (WS)
The Fox And The Hound 25th Anniversary Edition $21.95 (This is only available in FS, but in this case that's actually OAR so it's fine)
The Incredibles - Widescreen $21.95 (Obviously WS)
Monsters, Inc $21.95 (This release contains FS and WS)
Pocahontas 10th Anniversary Edition $19.95 (WS)
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl $22.95 (WS) (This should be 2 disc, I don't think there even is a 1 disc version)
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest $22.95 (WS) (The picture shows the 2 disc version)
Robin Hood: Most Wanted Edition $19.95 (WS)
Toy Story $21.95 (WS)

None are yet... but Aladdin: Special Edition goes OOP 1/31/08.

A good place to check on current release status is Michael's Movie Mahem. There is also a thread on this site dealing with upcoming/new OOP titles based on the data from MMM. It's the Out-Of-Print Titles (recently discovered) thread.

I recently joined the Disney Movie Club and I have a few questions.

!) Are codes for free shipping, etc usually only available for VIP members?

2) I'm trying to order some DVDs for fulfillment on the website. The problem is they have the promo buy one at regular price get each additional at 25% off. Is there a way to remove this? My additional titles won't qualify for fulfillment since it'll be less than $19.95. I tried clicking on "Remove Offer" but this doesn't seem to help.

Thanks.

I don't know about removing an offer but I do know that I recieve emails quite often for free shipping and I have not fulfilled my account yet.

I ended up picking up the following for $25.90

Aladdin: Special Edition $21.95 (WS)
Monsters, Inc $21.95
Peter Pan $21.95
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl $22.95 (WS)
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest $22.95 (WS)
Toy Story $21.95 (WS)
The Fox And The Hound 25th Anniversary Edition $21.95

Now I just have to find a third $19.95 title to pickup... Thanks for all the help!

Gah, is there anyway to browse the full list of boxed sets? They only show a partial list of what is available.

Unless I'm mistaken, you'll need to buy three more titles at $19.95 to fulfill your membership requirements, correct? The first five titles are $1 and you can get one more for $14.95 that counts toward fulfillment, reducing your commitment to three more.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, that is correct. I was just looking for a third $19.95 dvd to order. There are two $19.95 DVD's that I know I want. I just don't know what the third one should be.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought that you were saying that you only needed one more $19.95 DVD to fulfill your obligation. I was going to jump on that deal!

These bastards sent me a DVD I didn't order. I never ever had a problem with 100s of accounts I've had with Columbia House but with 1 account with Disney I do. F 'em.

I assume you already got and used your B1G1 code? That's the best perk. Other than that the B1 get 50% off is the best it will get from what I've seen.

You should get the B1G1 code in the mail after you become a VIP. I don't believe there's any B1 get 50% off codes active right now.

I think it was a month or two before I got mine. It doesn't come in your usual mailing, it's a separate envelope. If I remember right it comes with a letter welcoming you to VIP status, a VIP member patch, a B1G1 code and a code for a free pin with any DVD purchase.

Hi, does anyone know if the current double feature collection, with Ratatouille, Pixar Short Films, and The Incredibles would count as 1 fulfillment or 2? The price is $44.95. Getting all three of these is cheaper than buying them separately elsewhere, but i was wondering if I'd get a double fulfillment out of it. Also, the picture shows the Fullscreen version of Incredibles; would there be an option to get the widescreen version? Thanks.

I'm not sure how many fulfillments a double feature would count as. You would think something that expensive would count as two, but it's hard to say for sure. It's a shame the site doesn't give you that sort of information anywhere.

If the picture is full screen, I suspect you'll get full screen. I'd suggest calling and seeing if you can make sure you get the widescreen version. It's worth a shot at least. Any time you order from Disney and it comes in both versions you really need to watch them though, they default to full screen.

Check this post from earlier in the thread. I used it to request a missing slipcover and it was really easy:

That combo is actually a Triple Feature but it only counts as 1. Here is the fine print from the return card:

"The Triple Feature DVD set is $44.95 and not eligible for additional discounts (shipping and processing is free). Offer ends December 17, 2007. The Triple Feature can count as a regular-priced title, and 1 unit toward purchase commitment."

Thanks BobO'Link and smashthesymbols. I probably would have pulled the trigger on the deal if I could get 2 fulfillments out of it.
