^^^Sheky, it's considered proper etiquette to post the details of the code as well in order to avoid this type question and/or forcing everyone to check themselves.

So...

New 7/2 Code: 1C4

I didn't go through to checkout, but I tested QJ3 and did not have any trouble adding selections to my cart. I'm using Firefox.

so, i searched..... got tired of looking and not wanting to deal with psn numbers... both the previous listed codes: 0ZS & QJ3 that were for bill me later, no psn, did require me to enter psn.

if anyone has any other bill me codes?? thanks.

To be honest, you are much better off going with a phone enrollment.
888-242-3837
code AS6
See post 497 in this thread for a reference to lost applications. It's become an all-too-common experience.

If AS6 doesn't work, try 75X and tell them you don't have a PSN, or that it's been a while since you had an account, and you can't find your old info. That's been reported to work, but I haven't tried it.

^^Unless there's a specific reason you're wanting to use "bill me later" I would suggest using a CC that provides "multi-use" Virtual numbers as an alternative. If you go that route make sure you have double the initial membership amount on the card as CH will "ding" the card with a temporary charge for the full amount when you complete the sign-up and then drop this and put in a normal charge. On the virtual cards I've used the temp charge is subtracted from the total amount on the card which can cause the enrollment to fail if all you put on the card is the initial sign-up amount. The card also needs to be a "multi-use" type as the way CH does the temp charge causes the actual charge to fail on a "one time use" virtual CC.

And if you do a phone in it's been reported that phones are now only staffed 8am-5pm CT. I don't know this as fact... just passing along what I recall reading elsewhere.

I kinda needed the bill me right now because we just had to a report of stolen cc, and apply for new card/no. 7-10 bus days until it gets here, so was hoping.... anyway, ill just wait until new cc shows up. Thanks for the help & info.

New Code: 270

You get 6 DVDs for 49¢s with Free Shipping on this order As a Club member, all you need to do is buy 3 more DVDs in the next 2 years at regular Club prices (currently as low as $19.95 plus shipping and processing). You may cancel anytime thereafter. If you take a 7th movie now for $9.95 with Free Shipping, you will only have to buy 2 more DVDs (instead of 3) in the next 2 years! You can even take a 8th movie for the special price of $9.95 with Free Shipping. As a member, you will receive our Club mailing about every three weeks (up to 21 times a year) announcing the Director's Selection, the hottest title of the month and promoting a special offer...plus scores of DVDs to choose from (over 10,000 titles), many at extra-special prices. If you want the Director's Selection, do nothing ---it will be sent automatically. If you prefer an alternate selection, more selections or none at all, just visit our website or mail the response card so we receive it by the date specified. You will always have at least 10 days to decide. If not, and you receive an unwanted Director's Selection, you may return it at our expense and we will credit your account. Your introductory package is sent on a 10-day trial basis and includes complete details and your Membership Agreement. If you are not completely satisfied, to cancel your membership just return that package at our expense within 10 days, and we will credit your account. Offer limited to customers of the contiguous United States and may be withdrawn at any time. Offer may vary for residents of Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO and FPO addresses. (Tax added in states where applicable.) All applications are subject to review. Columbia House reserves the right to request additional information, to reject any application or to cancel any membership. If your application is accepted, your membership is subject to the terms and conditions of our Membership Agreement, which we will send you with your introductory package.

So now we're on the other extremity? I don't know if that was intentional humor, posting ALL the details like that, but if so, it's not really appreciated. I'm sure people besides me appreciate you posting new enrollment codes, but we don't need to comb through the legalese to find the details. Let's try to keep the board simple and informative, the way it's supposed to be.

Unless I'm missing something, let me paraphrase:

New Code: 270

7:2

^I'll take partial responsibility since I'm the one who told him it's proper to post the "details" of an offer. He apparently took me literally, or as you suggest it's a bit of sarcasm.

Thanks Sheky!

Is this code still valid?

Offer for that code has apparently changed - at least from what is shown when attempting to use it. Scratch that. From looking at what comes up, the site appears to be ignoring codes right now. At least for me.

2 other 7-for-1 codes are/were 1KE & 1KF.

Wow, applied online on Thursday, got approval email yesterday! Just missed free shipping on box sets though...

I wish I had known about the 7 for 1 codes when I applied. That woulda been better. But I'll probably ending up buying at least 2 titles anyway. I always seem to keep accounts open after I fulfill, since they do have some good sales (or price mistakes)...

B9V seems to work ok for me if I click on the "Join Now" arrow and then enter the code in the "Have a special savings code?" box. It remains 1:1:5, in effect 6:1, with $1.99 shipping charged for all the enrollments. My current DVD club account is B9V.

AS6 worked for me over the phone.

Also, I didn't give my email address, since I wanted to use the "Go Paperless" link to get a free DVD.

When the charge went through on my credit card, I called them, gave them an account number from another account, and they gave me the new account number.
Logged into my account, changed to a paperless account, and got another free DVD.
I chose "White Noise" from the limited selection. The link for the free DVD isn't easy to see. Read the text closely...

So, just a reminder to go paperless and get your free DVD.

Since I wanted White Noise anyway, my account is now an 8:2, from my perspective.

In addition, you might want to check any old semi-reactivated accounts that you can still log into. If you can "Go Paperless" in them, you can get a free DVD, even though they're not really open accounts anymore. I just did it with one of mine. Got "Balls of Fury." All my other old accounts that I can log into were already set to "paperless."

Here's the list of the limited selection available (compiled by Starman9000 recently in the box set free shipping thread, but then alphabetized titles without "a" and "the," and 2 non-movie entries removed). Keep in mind these are mostly 1-disc versions, so there might be other editions you would prefer (e.g., Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World). Also, don't forget to double-check that they're widescreen.

Spoiler:
40-Year-Old Virgin, The
Alpha Dog
American Dreamz
American Wedding
Assault on Precinct 13

Applied with a different code but also was surprised to get a welcome email on Sunday at 9:00PM, 3 hours before the FS on boxsets expired! But, of course I didn't read and see the email until Monday am, when it was just barely too late
I'm holding out for another boxset/FS event before the end of the year (like last year mentioned by Cheato in another thread somewhere).
I want the Dirty Harry set.

Has anybody been able to get CH to answer the phone at 888-242-3837?

I used that number to open a new account a week ago, just closed another account, and wanted to start a new one, but for the last two days, I haven't been able to get anyone to answer. I've tried at different times of the day, and I've tried all the different options from the menu. For anything that seems to want to connect to a person, the phone just rings for a while, and then transfers me back to the main menu, where I repeat the process. I've never had this problem before.

The last time I used it was right before Dec. 1st. Now it's after that. My fear is that something changed without me/us knowing about it. I don't want to lose the phone enrollment option!

Thanks for compiling those titles better. FYI, I just was accepted for HDL in the TV Club. I gave my email and was still able to get the "go paperless" free DVD by switching my account to regular mail and switching it immediately back to email again.

I used the number Tuesday to cancel an account. I had to sit on hold for probably 20 minutes before someone finally picked up. I was about tired of that Dark Knight promo.
