After I bought a CD from BMG, it asked me if I wanted to join Columbia House for the 6 for $2.94 deal with 3 more to buy and they'd give me a CD free when I was approved. Well I applied on Tuesday and got accepted Wednesday. That's the quickest one that has went though for me.
I got:
A Christmas Story (2 Disc)
Rambo (2 Disc)
Jumper (2 Disc)
Witless Protection
Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins
Heathers 20th High School Reunion Edition

Wow, none of these codes are working for me (QJ3, 0ZS, etc.). No matter what I type in, I just get the standard "5 dvds for $0.49, 6th for $14.99, and 7th for $9.99". Am I doing something wrong, or is the site messed up?

^Quite a few of the codes in the first post no longer work, including LMT (it appears to work but you'll get a card telling you the code is no longer valid). Your best bet is to go through the past 3-4 pages or so gleaning recently reported good codes.

You also might want to clear your cookies. It's common for a cookie issue to prevent a code from working, or working correctly. If you're using Firefox you can just delete any cookie with "columbia" in the text and leave the rest alone.

QJ3 didn't work (would go back to standard), but 0ZS worked, just submitted it, lets hope it gets approved.

I see the same thing on my VCC account.

I have both the estimated enrollment charge + the actual enrollment charge (w/tax) pending. I'm expecting the estimated charge to drop off in a few days.

75x worked fine for me on wedsneday. I applied over the phone for a 7:2 membership (my 5th account) on Wedsneday two days later, on Friday, I got my "welcome to the club" e-mail.

I was able to use AS6 today over the phone without any issues. It's a standard code, no PSN required.

I used 75X on Wed, needed PSN. Got shipping email today. Finally. Phone from now on for me.

I asked at the time if I could do another app, she said that you can have 2 open accounts but would have to wait until the 1st one is approved or the 2nd attempt would cancel the 1st attemp. So.....next week, hopefully No.2 is in place.

Is AS6 a 7:2?

Anyone had success with online codes lately? After having a couple in a row work over the summer, I've had my last two attempts go lost.

I just tried most of the codes and none of them worked for me. Even cleared my cookies. All I see is the 5 for $5 deal.

I just tried AS6 and it worked fine... Standard 7/2 code. Used Firefox and entered on the "front page" "Have a Savings Code" box, not through the pop-up.

Enrollment codes for Blu-Ray?

Anyone know of any enrollment codes for Blu-Ray titles? I thought I remembered reading someone post a special enrollment code specifically for BD - it was something like B2,G4 terms???

Thanks.

I've given up online... I tried 7 different times and I get the 1st email but never an approval or denial...

So.. I did the phone call a week or so ago with 75X (required PSN), got approved the next day. Once I got approved, I called again and got a 2nd account, approved in 1 day also.

I used to HATE calling in, but these 2 times were just perfect and left a sweet taste in my mouth instead of bitter for once!

I've already fulfilled both with the bogo+FS also.

Others have reported that you can request bill me later when using any working phone enrollment code. Just ask and see if it is still possible.

Ummm...

So I was trying to place a phone enrollment and I called 3 different reps on two different #s (800-262-2001 and 800-667-0364) and all three said they are no longer accepting phone enrollments. All said the change occurred two months ago.

So then I tried the new enrollment # (888-242-3837) and after pressing '4' to open a new account it just kept ringing and ringing until I got disconnected. Three times.

Has anyone else had a problem recently? Am I using the right phone #s? Thanks.

EDIT: tried again this morning using the -3837 number and someone answered. Maybe they all just went home early yesterday. used 75x code w/ no problems.

^As your experience has showed, for phone enrollments one should call 888-242-3837. Some years ago the regular CSRs at the usual CS phone numbers stopped being able to process enrollments using savings codes. That function was shifted to a new phone number and special CS representatives. They tend to work normal business hours based on the Central time zone, I believe.

I broke down the other day and enrolled over hte phone using 75X. Got the acceptance email 2 days later. I normally prefer not dealing with the CH humanoids, but I can't argue with success after going 0-fer with online apps the last few months.
