Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

Received my copies of Lilo & Stitch and Emperor's New Groove yesterday. Emailed DMC to cancel my account yesterday evening and received an email back tonight stating my account has been cancelled.

Now to put together a list so I can re-up again.

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

How long does your purchase take to show up on your commitment status? Bought the triple feature of Lilo, Pocahontas, New Groove, and still hasnt showed up on the status.

Has it shipped yet? Normally it doesn't show as a commitment until after it ships.

Are you checking under "Order History" or under "Commitment Status"?

When I ordered the Lilo/Emperor pack, neither title showed up as a commitment in my order history (probably because of the way they broke it up as 24.95 for one title and 5.00 for the other), but it did show up within a day or two after shipping on my commitment status.

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

I just checked my email ( sent them a ? about it), they said it will show status about 2 weeks after it is shipped. She said it counted and will show any day.

This was my first purchase after I joined. Do you guys do your commitments and cancel and start all over?

And whats the point of those 3d cards?

Should've showed up by now. I checked my account right after I received mine and it was already there. So I went ahead and cancelled my account. It usually shows up within a few days of being shipped.

Just so you know(in case you did not already know), I believe the monthly selections only count as one commitment regardless of whether you choose to get the double or triple feature. That is unless you go and change it to pay full price for the(in your case) third title.

This was my first purchase after I joined. Do you guys do your commitments and cancel and start all over?
Yes, there are quite a few people here and over at another site that recycle accounts. Most usually wait until there are enough titles of interest before signing back up again. Occasionally there will be a decent deal for VIP members(those who have fulfilled their account). But really you are better off just cancelling and signing back up again.

And whats the point of those 3d cards?
Some people collect them since they must have all things Disney. Others sell or just get rid of them. Personally, I just slide them inside of the slipcover of the corresponding title. I don't go out of my way to collect them, but I am sure there are ones who do.

Yes it counts, and they will not charge you until it ships.

Be aware that the $24.95 version is for the DVD packaging. For some reason, the Blu-ray packaging is $29.95.

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

Once Upon a Time Season 2 Pre-order is part of a 30% off sale for 26.57 Amazon has it listed for about $50 the last i checked. Has anyone seen it cheaper? I know last year they had a $10 off coupon for the blu but I have no clue if they are doing it again this year. It comes out in 3 weeks and the sale lasts that long so I guess I can wait to see the ads when they come.

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

Amazon did the $10 coupon deal on season 2 a few months ago. Off the top of my head I do not remember what my order comes to, but I figured I would hold out until the ads drop for that week.

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

I pre-ordered at Amazon with the coupon, and my order came to 35.49 before taxes.
Does anyone know how easy it is to cancel orders with DMC? I just pre-ordered Monsters University as a fulfillment, but I'd rather get OUaT S2.

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

My featured selection is: Robin Hood & The Sword in the Stone Blu-ray DVD Combo w/ Digitial Copy 2-Pack ($34.99).

Anyone know if this will this count as 1 fulfillment? 2? 0?

EDIT: Thank you, joltman.

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

Hey I got a question. I had recently returned Oz to the club because I forgot to decline it. They received I got credit but it looks like they are counting it as a fulfillment title. It shows I have only one left when I really have 2.

Will they correct this? It's been like 2 weeks since I got the credit.

On another note I added:

The Little Mermaid and Monsters University to my cart and went to "check out" it looks like shipping is free on those is that normal?

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

I went ahead and took advantage of the current offer to order all 5 Treasures sets for sale that I don't own (Elfego Baca, Spin and Marty, Disneyland USA, MM BW 2, Tomorrow Land). I'd have never even known they were for sale, let alone for an average of $20 each, had I not joined the Disney Movie Club. I'm very happy with my experience so far, though I've only received one title in the mail at this point.

Missed this. Now the featured title is the loaded pack with blu-ray 3-d, music, etc. (don't need any of that), and does not include free shipping. Doh!

Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

So with code 10042B I get 7 titles for $21.90

How many more for total fulfillment? What are the prices to fullfill?
