The TREAT code does make it a steal. Even with shipping costs, it comes out to $62.14.

But somehow I think it might get cheaper on the site if WWE participates in some sort of Thanksgiving sale.

Anyone get the Survivor Series Anthology Vol. 1 or 2 early? I hope they didn't cheap out on the packaging like with Summerslam. That would be shame.

An entire Anthology Box Set is still better than per Volume based Sets.

damn that sucks!

i never had playback problems with the Summerslam Anthology and Kane DVD, but it would have been great if WWE changed the packaging for it. I guess that means Volume 3 and 4 will be the same.

according to Amazon.ca, WWE are releasing RAW Best Of on DVD and Blu-ray on Jan 26, 2010.

Does anybody know if Silvervision in the UK are still offering a Survivor Series Anthology storage box if all volumes are ordered through them? I can't see this written on the site so would they stick to this? I think I remember reading it was just mentioned on their Twitter. I would like a full box set to go with my others.

Now that Vivendi Home Entertainment is distributing WWE titles instead of Genius Products, I bet that's why we'll see more Blu-ray releases for 2010.

I had such a tough time finding the 2 Survivor Series Volumes. I went to 2 Best Buys, 2 Walmarts, and Future Shop and none had it.

1 Walmart though had it when i asked the sales associate but he said it's still in the back and not in the system so it's best if i try again at 6pm, so damn lazy!

I finally found the 2 at HMV, price was $42.99 each.

Ever since KOCH merged with another distribution company, stores have taken longer to receive WWE DVDs, instead of on release day. I remember when KOCH was the sole distribution company i use to find them like almost a week before release date, especially back in 2003-2004. Now i'm lucky to even find them on the street date.

Its ridiculous trying to look for wwe dvds in stores i went to BB, walmart, and kmart in my area none had either of the survivor series anthologies or the hell in a cell ppv on the shelves. BB told me to check later today, and kmart and walmart had no idea what was going on. I guess ill just order them online.

never realized it was the same in the US as well.

It depends on the distribution company, before Genius Products wasn't Sony the lead distributor for WWE DVDs in the US?

It's getting pretty sloppy where i live too when trying to find WWE DVDs especially the new ones.

Is the old school Survivor Series theme used between 89-93 included or has it been edited out? Also does Vince do the introductions for 89-90 or have they done a rumble anthology edit job replacing him with Gene Okerlund? Any notable edits with theme music? doesnt come out here in Australia until next week so im interested to know how it stacks up with previous anthologies.

The BB in my area always has the new releases (WWE and UFC) out on release day, usually plenty of copies available too. I think it may depend on the individual store.

UK always gets the Great Britain RAW/SD/ECW supershows on DVD.

Too bad North America don't get them. I remember we use to get Insurrextion, Rebellion and Global Warning Tour from Australia.

Those were pretty fun events, event though there were no title changes and mostly rematches but the extras were good as well since they use to put the older matches taken place at that country like with Rebellion 2002 they included HBK vs. Bulldog from One Night Only 97.

One Night Only is perhaps the greatest WWF PPV in UK. That was released here in UK as part of the 'Tagged Classics' series

Okay, I'm going to rely on my fellow forumites for some advice here. I have the opportunity to buy the following VHS tapes. The asking price is $300 and there's 85 tapes listed, though the complete bundle is supposed to be 100+ tapes and all are originals. I'm not sure how negotiable the price is...

^I would pass as you could easily get all of those, minus maybe the WCW shows for cheaper on EBAY by themselves. Too much overlap with show already on DVD such as all of the ECW and Wrestlemania tapes.
