And I got the same.
But, talking with some people over on a UK forum the ITV releases have shipped and are in stock and selling at bricks-and-mortar stores. So maybe its just a delay to their largest single customer (Amazon UK).
Since the releases are real and out there it shouldnt take too long (fingers crossed).

although after reading that, I may start looking for the French sd edition. I don't regret selling off my Criterion copy, as it was full of artifacts and far below the state of the art for even sd-but I miss not having this in my collection..
Ironically I cancelled my order with Amazon last week because I was spending too much in the DD sale (on impulse buys like the Rohmer set) and now it seems they've jacked the price up £5 (almost $10).
Guess I'll just wait now for the Beaver review on this.
Funny, but I was really only lukewarm on the Rohmer set before, but rabidly anticipating this. Now I'm starting to feel genuine disappoinment not getting that set.

Waiting for Taegukgi fm DDDHouse...hoping it would have the same features as the R3 or even R1 dvd. Didn't pick up Dongmakgool as I also have the R3 dvd of this and found the film a little too preachy.

I think it is the reviewers comment that the Blu-ray looked grainier than the DVD release, or that the DVD dealt with the grain better (rolls eyes)

as for an impression on the disc... This is what a person had to say on Hidefdigest
I watched Taegukgi (Brotherhood) yesterday. I'd say the PQ was 4 out of 5 and AQ (based on DTS core alone) was 5 out of 5. The PQ was solid, stable and with medium-good level of sharpness / detail. The colors were slightly muted as gritty, as is typical for war movies. There was no noticeable grain even in the darker scenes though which made me feel there may have been some grain removal processing involved. I wouldn't be able to say for sure though as I haven't seen this movie in a theatre, I just have a Korean DVD of it somewhere and I last watched it several years ago. It looked pretty eye-pleasing and nice all through, without any noticeable artifacts. The level of detail / sharpness was not as great as with some "reference quality" discs, the picture never looked extremely sharp to the point of making a special impression, but it was pretty decent and fully met my expectations.
The AQ felt excellent, lots of effective use of surrounds especially in the battle scenes. Even in my limited optical setup the DTS core sound was pretty much perfect.
The movie itself was of course 5 out of 5 again
I really like this one, even though it gets a bit over the top (but in a good way).

I am sorry to come off so harsh on the gentleman but an HD transfer should not correct what is present on the master negative. An HD transfer should replicate, as much as technically possible, what is already on the master negative.
Any attempt to evade the above thought-process simply negates everything HD stands for.

I'm guessing that some of you may have already heard the news, but Tartan went into receivership this morning, laying of all 22 staff. Apparently it is business as usual from a catalogue point of view, but I have no idea whether this will impact on new releases. More news is promised next week.

I believe he meant Tartan US as Tartan UK is still going strong. I really hope that their BD releases of Lady Vengeance & A Tale of Two Sisters are not region coded.
UPDATED: Sorry, I just read that Tartan UK is also gone!!!

AFAIK Palisades Pictures (the company that picked up Tartan USA's holdings) have yet to announce their plans for the old Tartan library. No doubt they'll reissue some titles, but I would be shocked if "all" of them make it back into print.
