The posts above were from January 2021. I just now opened up the BD case and the case holds a single disc. In this case it's a DVD. Of the sequel. 
Anyone else recall an issue with their copy or have a problem like this with a reward? I'll reach out to DMR, hoping they make things right.

Thanks, lwhy! Please don't go to any extra trouble, but do you remember if both films are on a single BD disc. If they were separate, were they stacked in the BD case or what? This BD case has only a single spindle. Has me baffled how a mistake like this could have happened.

Thanks, again. So that means I could be missing 2 discs. A BD disc containing both films and the DVD of the original.
I don't usually open movies up until I'm ready to watch them. This is certainly a good reason to change that approach, though I can't recall a time which I've been burned before like this.

Appreciate that, kahuna! So basically I was missing the "hinged" part inside the case. I sent DMI an e-mail and a message through their FB page with pictures, etc. One reply was for me to send a picture of the packing slip from the reward which I doubt that I have. Hopefully that doesn't turn into an issue.

And a conclusion to the matter: Got a reply that as a 1-time courtesy, they'd adjust my account by refunding the 400 points used. They no longer have the stock to replace the films which is a bummer. I also received a gentle reminder to address these kinds of concerns within 60 days in the future. 
Just realized I haven't yet entered the code from the insert, which is currently at home. I have fallen behind on DMR points with the exception of the bonus codes. The insert has nothing to do with digital copies of the films, does it? Regardless, I guess I came out a little ahead.
