You can't combine the two. You may get lucky once in a great while but more often than not, your order will get cancelled.

For those registered with CD-WOW, check your e-mail. I just got an e-mail promoting a Coupon Giveaway to coincide with the World Cup. You log-in to your account, and predict the games for a chance to win coupons of varying amounts. $1.50 just for playing, $2.50 if you guess the winner, and $4.00 if you guess the score. You have to keep checking back to play every day. Right now they've got two of tomorrow's matches listed for your prediction. Haven't gone through the fine print in its entirey but it seems a great way to rack up some coupons.......they'd be really useful when buying through the "warehouse" option.

For those unfamiliar with the sport, I'd suggest a google search for FIFA World Rankings so at least you have some idea of the relative strength of various teams.

Looks like US site's coupon value for this World Cup campaign is higher than that of UK (.com) site. In cd-wow.com, it's 0.5 GBP to enter, 1GBP to get the results right, and 2GBP to get the scores right.

anyone knows when the coupon will show up on your coupon bank? I've gotten a couple of matches correct, no exact score yet. I figure they might show up the day after but nothing.

I would give it a few days. I am sure a lot of people took part! I have gotten a few right as well.

Yeah, I kind of thought they - the coupons - might show up the following day but I guess we should be patient. So far I think I'm 3-2 (darned Poland and Sweden) but no exact scores. I'm not a soccer fan really but I do enjoy watching the World Cup. I'm actually watching most of it on Univision (Spanish-language channel). The picture & sound quality on yesterday's broadcasts was much better than ABC (standard not HD) which was way too dark. Also Univision seems to run about 5-7 seconds ahead of ABC. I wish there were some way to shut off the volume on the announcers (both American (who don't seem to have much to add...I gave up on them after some lame comparison they made between one team and the Denver Broncos) and Spanish (because I don't understand Spanish anyway)) and just watch the game with the crowd & game noises.

I'm not a soccer fan either but most of my friends are so I've gotten into it over the years. but Univision is the way to go. They are more enthustiastic about it.

The World Cup vouchers are now available, but it looks like they reduced the $U.S. values from what was indicated in the promo e-mail (example: now $2 for a winner as opposed to $2.50 (that's what it initially said, right?). The delay was because they were apparently having some issues on the IT side of things (at least that is what I was told (via e-mail)). And wow, what a flatline performance from the U.S. (worst I've seen in the tournament so far), glad I picked the Czechs.

Mine are not on the US site but yes on the UK one. is there a way I could switch them?
Also, the site says taht is $1.50, 2.50 and $4.00 for the correct score.

I'm the opposite, my vouchers only show up on the U.S. site, nothing on the U.K. side. Maybe e-mail and ask if there is a way to change over, if that is what you want. As a follow-up to what DVDTalker wildeny said earlier, maybe they reduced the U.S. voucher amount to be more in line with the U.K. amounts.

It only works on the UK site, which ruins a lot of the savings for US folks.

arghh. I'm with linn here. is not worth it on the UK site because the stuff I looked up is priced higher than just using the US site and the vouchers would make no difference. Why can't they work in any/all sites. everything else in my account shows up in all of them.

I am working with them right now to get them changed to the US site for me.

And sure Pilot, rub it in!

Linn1, BuddhaWake, if you are not finding the success that Bill Geiger has, try sending an e-mail to their Customer Service Director ([email protected]). Be nice, polite, calm (from my interactions with you two, I know that you wouldn't do any differently, but I have doubts about a small percentage of the other folks (not necessarily the active participants of this International forum)). I've gone the aforementioned route at least a couple of times (after first exhausting all attempts with their first level support) and have always been pleased with the outcome.

Well, I'm screwed.

"The reason you cannot see your evoucher bank is because you are logging into the wrong CD WOW! domain.

When you originally registered to become a member you did so via
www.cd-wow.com and so you need to log in via that domain (not the US site).Log in with your membership details to view your evoucher bank. Please note you will only be able to redeem one voucher per transaction via the site you originally registered through - www.cd-wow.com which means all the prices will be in Pounds Sterling and so your bank/credit card company may charge you an exchange rate fee which is completely beyond our control."

What a crock.
