Which was awesome as a twosome, then Christensen walked in with his dick swinging. (unsurprisingly the only part of him that wasn't wooden).

Already a better storyline than Episode II

Really excited for this one! It's actually released in cinemas on my Birthday, so I'm just going to pretend it's my Bday present from Abrams lol.

This movie is, like three months away and we still haven't gotten a real trailer or poster. WTF?

You make it sound like it may bomb because they haven't released either one. They could remain silent right up till release and it'll still be the biggest release this year. In fact, I'd be totally down if they don't release anything else until its release.

It'll be first or second, Jurassic World is a huge hurdle of repeat summertime viewing.

I'm guessing we'll get a real trailer in October. This has gotten ridiculous. I think the first teaser came out in November of 2014.

I still think this would have been better suited as a summer movie.

I've been following all the products coming out. Bought a few things, but what I have noticed so far is how repetitive the images seem. It all just seems like we are seeing the same images on stuff over and over. A lot of the stuff out could have been out back at the time of Celebration and it wouldn't have made a difference. I'm really ready to see some more.

Some spoilery stuff here, but there are rumors that Hayden Christensen might be involved in VIII or Rogue One (or both).

"A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort," the outlet has heard.
Cue "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" gif.

My money is on his role being a "twin" brother or clone since they ran with that shit in the prequel trilogy.

They'll have to put him old age make-up.

My guess is if that HC shows up in this he'll either be a force ghost, a holocron projection, or a vision of some kind.

I really hope it isn't a flashback; a while back it was rumored that there would be a flashback to the OT era with a different actress playing Leia. The Star Wars films, at least the numbered "saga" ones, have been completely linear and the new trilogy should adhere to this.

Trading cards reveal a potential major spoiler

Spoiler:
Newly released trading cards reveal that Rey is a rebel and a Jedi, but Finn is only a rebel and not a Jedi.

So it looks like that bit in the last trailer with Finn wielding a lightsaber was misdirection after all. Finn did look nervous holding it. It is probably Rey's lightsaber and she was knocked out or something, and Finn is defending her.

Don't know how much can be read into that; I believe another card has a droid listed as a Jedi, too.

Though I have little doubt that some, if not all, of the new characters are the children or grandchildren of characters we know.

My speculation:

Finn is Han Solo's grandson. Rey is Han and Leia's daughter. Kylo is Luke's son.

Spoiler:
Is it Skippy the Jedi droid?

I remember an old comic book that had a humorous short story about Skippy the Jedi droid. Skippy was the R2 droid that Uncle Owen almost bought in ANH until it blew its fuse. The comic revealed why that droid blew its fuse. Basically the droid was a Jedi and it could foresee that it was necessary fate for Uncle Owen to buy R2D2 instead so it purposefully sacrificed itself for the greater good.

That comic was hilarious, and it is better than I can describe it in words. It was written by Peter David who also wrote some great Marvel and DC comics.

It would be awesome if they actually made Skippy canon.

and we have been hearing Kylo is not a Sith. He has a Sith badge on the card. Who knows.

Spoiler:
Yeah, it has been said he is a "Knight of Ren" whatever that is. Who knows, maybe that is misdirection too. Abrams did say Cumberbatch wasn't Khan, and look how that turned out.

Or maybe "Sith" is just a generic term for bad guy on the trading cards. Could be they didn't want to spoil Knights of Ren for everyone who hasn't read about it on the internet. Although they apparently had no problem spoiling Finn and Rey.

Or maybe Knights of Ren are like a "New Order" version of the Sith like the First Order is the new version of the Empire. The Knights of Ren have to be associated with Sith somehow with the red lightsaber and dark side powers and such.

So I got my Kylo Ren Target Exclusive Funko POP figure and he doesn't have a hood but his helmet is all beat up.

My friend said that maybe he's using Vader's helmet as his own?
