And he's shooting 35mm again, which I admit, engenders him a lot of good will from my corner. Whether he'll really use as much practical stuff as he says, I suppose time will tell, but it's certainly a good start.

#1 on my list: Only real actors/stuntmen during lightsaber fights---no CGI figures. If you want flips, get some Hong Kong stuntmen to do them, or leave them out.

The repeated flips in the Prequels were completely unnecessary. Yoda looked ridiculous as he went through the air like a frog.

For the record, the Watto character was supposed to be an Arab stereotype. That's why there was some controversy, but not tremendous outrage. If it were an antisemitic Jewish stereotype, no studio would want to have anything to do with Lucas ever again__ except maybe Disney. Oh, wait...
