Yondu would be so at home in the Star Wars universe. You know who should've been in the crew and would have made Solo go from good to great? Yondu.

It is kind of odd that they haven't announced the Movie Title of Episode 9 yet, as they clearly following the path for the Saga movies:
Episode 7: Teaser #1 in November, Movie Title in January, Teaser #2 in April, Full Trailer in October
Episode 8: No Teaser #1, Movie Title in January, Teaser #1 in April, Full Trailer in October.
What I noticed was when the December SW movie started to dwindle at the box office in January, they would ramp up the hype on the next movie. It's almost like Disney is going through the motions with Episode 9 and they are conceded it is what it is (It will still make big box office but it seems that SW isn't the behemoth anymore?), and probably care more about the Marvel movies for 2019.

I kind of feel like it’s silly to hold back titles in a lot of instances. Even with Avengers: Endgame I don’t feel like that’s a spoiler filled title. Most times a title alone doesn’t give away a ton of spoilers.

I don't find it frustrating that there is no title or teaser yet... truthfully, I think this movie is so painted into a corner that they're probably scrambling to put together a cohesive finish all while jamming every single fanboy fix they can. I hear rumors of Lando, Han, Anakin, Knights of Ren, Luke, Luke flashbacks, Snoke alive, etc... you can't put 10lbs of shit into a 5lb bag.

Since JJ Abrams is back at the helm, they should call it...

I would think that after Solo floundered at the box office after the subdued hype and promotion it received, that the PTB at Disney and Lucasfilm would want to start pushing this movie as soon as possible.

Could be just the opposite. Maybe they sensed some Star Wars fatigue and are holding off as long as they can before trying to sell people on Episode IX. My guess is the hype will start around Celebration and May the 4th. Hopefully they can somewhat salvage Episode IX into a semi-decent finale. I feel the sequels will always be tainted though.

That's a lot of speculation based on a title being announced later than the others. I mean Marvel was coy about the Avengers: Endgame title, holding it back a lot longer than they did for Avengers: Infinity War. Maybe Lucasfilm considers the title a partial spoiler, or they've decided to switch up their announcement strategy. Who knows?

We already know the title actually. What we don't know is the subtitle.

All will be revealed at Star Wars Celebration. I expect the trailer to hit April 11th. I wouldn't be surprised if we get the full title soon. After that the marketing team will kick in to full gear.

I'm surprised by how little we've seen from this, not so much regarding trailers or tities, but leaks or set pictures or anything like that. Seems like, at this same point with TLJ, there was a ton of unofficial stuff out already out there.
