Dale from last season? Isn't that the guy who made a colossal fuck up with some chops he cooked and was booted in the first elimination? Maybe you meant Casey, the somewhat cute chick?

No, Dale from last season was the gay guy with the mohawk who finished in the top 3.

And Casey was the one that was much more than "somewhat" cute

Ahh, I totally forgot about him. Clay is who I was thinking of. Casey was only "somewhat" cute to me. She looked very good at times, and just real plain at others. To each their own.

Clay didn't screw up chops, he screwed up alligator. How does a southern guy not know how to cook gator??? Still the biggest question to come out of any season.

Clay was completely out of his league in this competition. He didn't even had a clue as to what an amuse bouche was.

I beg to differ. It was chops. I particularly recall Tom Coliccio being irked that Clay par cooked the chops, as if it was for a big catered party or something, and I remember him saying "Clay and those damn chops" right before they kicked him off.

He was very much out of his league, as Sweet Baby James said. I know we only saw him for one episode, but I'd have to say he was probably the worst cook so far of all 4 seasons. Yes, even Nimma seemed better.

I love me some Dale! I liked Casey too. Didn't she win fan favorite?

Lisa is so off-putting in everything she says, cooks, and the way she presents herself (double chins and all). Both her and Spike needed to go home long ago.

I would like to see Stephanie win, but Richard is the best of all of them.

Godfuckingdammit! What the hell is it going to take to get Lisa thrown off the show? She was annoying even when she wasn't saying anything: at the elimination, she was just standing there, arms crossed, her facial expression and body languages making her look like less like a chef and more like a standoffish person who also has Down Syndrome (I gotta get a screencap of that). Farewell, Spike; I will miss the energy and the straw hat.

Oh well. Might as well just skip to the end and give Stephanie the title now; I honestly can't see any of the remaining contestants giving her a run for her money. Richard, maybe, but even that is kind of iffy.

Please Bravo, don't bring Ilan back ever again, as he dredges up too many memories of his douche-like ways in S2. Nice attire in the steakhouse, btw; this is not Denny's, at least wear a dress shirt and tie.

Also: calling people "bro" when you're in your forties/fifties, as tonight's guest did to Spike, makes you look pretty silly. Unless you are a frat boy, burned-out hippie, stoner, and/or surfer, you should never use that word.

Don't worry bro, the odds of Lisa winning is pretty small I think.

From the previews for next week, Lisa gets a butch haircut too. Blah!!!

Nothing better than Spike calling out the owner of the restaurant for taking in frozen scallops.

It was a dumb move competition-wise, but at the same time... I sort of agreed with him. When the other chefs were initially slamming him for picking the scallops, my first thought was "Doesn't this sort of expose the restaurant as having (at least some) shoddy ingredients?" I couldn't help but think of all the episodes of Kitchen Nightmares where Gordon Ramsey tore into chefs for using frozen ingredients instead of fresh ones.

It is a travesty that Lisa made the final 4, while Dale did not.

it's really a final 3+1, as everyone knows that Lisa isn't in the league of the other 3. As for the other 3, I think it's anyone's game. Stephanie sometimes puts it all together, but it also seems like she has had the bigger failures. Richard and Antonia have been more consistent.

They need to do Lisa a favor and boot her so that she can join Jennifer and Zoi for some "box" lunch in Birkenstockland.

Unfortunately, it seems like they really do -- for the most part -- choose winners and losers based not upon history, but upon the dishes in that challenge. So if Lisa cooks something good in the next challenge, she has a shot, even if she was not the best chef overall.

I think in Season 1 and 3, they did end up with the best chef overall, but in Season 2 they most definitely did not.

I agree with everyone's comments so far. There are three contenders and Lisa. It's too bad Spike stayed with the frozen scallops when they were obviously an inferior product. I'd love to see a woman (not Lisa) go all the way this season, but Richard is highly skilled.

As good as Richard is, he should have been gone when the fish he served still had scales. If it had been anyone else, he/she would have been gone.

Although I like Richard, I agree. That's when I knew the judges are full of shit.

I agree totally. That was BS, and I'm a Richard fan even.

I loved the slam on the frozen scallops. I mean why have an ingredient in the kitchen if that's a sub standard item to use. You know if Spike didn't use them another one of the competitors would have.

Personally I think one of the girls are going to win, because they want a woman winner this season, and Richard isn't that much better then them to begin with, so it's not a real stretch.

I have to disagree...Richard is up there with creativity...and looks like he's a technically sound chef, despite the scales issue (which I think was more of a bonehead than anything...

But I think Stephanie is on the level as well, with Antonia slightly behind them, and then there's Lisa and her wonderful box-chowing hair (from next week's preview). Lisa really is a 1/4 step above a talented home chef...the only difference is that she went to school apparently for it, and I didn't, and I can cook rice correctly. Oh, and I'd never put peanut butter in mash...
