On raid groups there WAS just a window you could open in the Social button, but IIRC they're in the process of implementing an updated version that's easier to control and whatnot - that was either in the last patch or a soon-to-be-released patch.

I get random crashes all the time even when I upgraded from 512Megs to 1Gig. The game is still somewhat buggy and these crashes have been going on since game launch.
Its extremely annoying when you're in an instance and have a long queue to get back on.
I wish blizzard will fix all these bugs instead of adding new contents.

Pre 1.6, you would have to download something like CTRaidAssist to be able to monitor other groups' healthbars, etc. Something like CTRaidAssist would require other people to use it as well. Most raiding guilds, like ours, pretty much require CTRaidAssist.

As of 1.6, there is something similar built into WoW. Although CTRaidAssist users still use CTRaidAssist as it offers more options. To access the built-in raidassist, go to your social window, and go to the raid tab. You can drag the "group x" labels to your play window to view that group. For instance, if you wanted to keep track of group 4 in your raid, just drag the group 4 label to your play area. You can also drag a class to your window to view all players of that class. For instance, if you wanted to monitor all warriors, drag "warrior" from the raid tab/window to your play screen.

Somewhat buggy is an understatement The game is really buggy, and more bugs are introduced each patch. But as far as bugs that crash you, there's not a lot of those. I would get a random desktop crash every once in a while, but that occurs very infrequently so it's not an issue. If you're crashing a lot, you may look into updating your video drivers. I used to have issues in major cities until i updated my drivers and forced it to run in OpenGL instead of directx mode. That's also something you could try.

If you are a healer there's really no reason not to install CTRaidAssist. I messed around with the 1.6 built-in raid interface and didn't really care for it myself. CTRA was a bit inconvenient before, as other members of the group had to join a channel and broadcast other players data, but all of that has been automated in the more recent updates. Another add-on that is so good that I actually feel guilty about using at times is decursive. This will scan your raid for people that need curing of diseases, poisons, magics, or curses and dispel for you at the push of a button.

As for priest macros, I really only have two set up, and they are just to let people know when I am doing a greater heal to prevent the back-up healer from wasting mana, and when I shackling to hopefully prevent the target from getting attacked.

My Troll rogue is now a lvl 24, and I really like the character. Thanks for the tips on selling some of the herbs - I have a lot of kingsblood that I could put in AH right away. Any extra gold would be awesome. I've been looking at mods and different UI's lately because I've been thinking about using Cosmos. What mods/UI's would you guys recommend? Do the mods make the already buggy game buggier?

Most of the mods cease to function when a new patch comes out at which time you will have to get a new version of the mod for it to work again.

I've got 2.25gb of ram and Ogrimarr and Ironforge both lag at times. Ironforge off and on, Ogrimarr usually just once as things load up if I try to hit AH, Mail or Guild list.

Probably in this order:

Superior Healing
Dreamless Sleep/Detect Undead (can get Arthas' Tears in Razorfen Downs)
Elixir of Greater Int
Elixir of Greater Agility
Elixir of Detect Demon
Superior Mana
Elixir of the Sages/Major Healing
Elixir of the Mongoose/Transmutes

Once you get past 250 most of the recipes are drops, so you have to buy them on the auction house.

Are you kidding? Warriors are pretty much the most complete class in the game now. Come end game, the whole game is pretty much catered to you. Ask phr33k, he's got a warrior running MC right now. Pretty much, your MC drops are going to make you a ridiculously strong warrior.

However, not all addons are updated for every patch, so if you don't see an update after the patch, and WoW won't load it, go into the .tua file (IIRC) and change the patch number -- it should be 1700 after today I think.

Important question: Are there any tailoring patterns for tailoring 250+ that you can buy from vendors? I seem to recall that you can get the wedding gown (250?) in SW. Are there other ones? I dont want to overspend at the auction house if i can just fly/ride some where and get them for cheaper.

If the pattern/plan/schematic/formula name is in white, it is purchased from a vendor.

You can get a few runecloth recipes like Runecloth gloves and Runecloth bags and Mooncloth purification recipes in Winterspring. Qua in the Auction house there. Keep in mind though that she doe'snt always have all of them, I had to camp her for 30 minutes to get all 3

I'm sorry, i meant the Bank
Qua is in the same building as the bank, 2nd house on the left. turn left the second you enter and there he/she is (can never tell with gnomes). Once again, sorry for the mis-speak or MT for you WoW people

The mooncloth patter is always there and it is a great money maker.. like 15 gold for 1 mooncloth average on my server i think. You can only make 1 every 3 days though and you need a moonwell to do so.

oh btw, the city is everlook

I looked up Winterspring and it doesnt look like i'll be able to get there for a little while (currently level 47), lots of 55+ mobs on the way. unless there is some secret to it?

played WSG last night with my 24 warrior. we got pwned. I was dead about half the time and we lost in about 7 minutes.

If you can get your Timbermaw faction up to unfriendly by killing the Furborgs in the south of Felwood (should be doable at 47) you should be able to make it to Everlook if that's all you want. Unfortunately, you have to kill a lot of them. Once you get through that you should be able to ride to Everlook without too much difficulty as long as you look out for the Winterfell Runners...
