I'd post some pictures, but my photobucket just went over the limit

According to the weekly ads posted on cheapassgamer, MVP Baseball is going to be released and on sale for $39.99 at BestBuy next week (4/24-4/30). Looking at bestbuy.com the release date is 4/27. However, ebgames and gamestop say 5/17, amazon and IGN says 5/3, and circuitcity says 5/5. Finally, the easports website says "SHIPPING MARCH 2005!" So uh... who's right?

Sorry about the bad lighting.. It was either no flash, or a big white light on the center of the screens.. I used it on the last 3 pictures, and they turned out real faded looking

Actually works surprisingly well.
I found both ways of holding it to be easy (One using the left hand for the D-Pad, and the right for the analog (In vertical, you can use the analog for stuff like shooting in space invaders)) as well as holding it and using the left hand for the D-Pad and the right hand to hold up near the top and use the other buttons.

yeah, the nub (or if you prefer, the O, X, etc.. buttons)
I use the nub mostly, you basically flick it and it'll do whatever action (digdug pump thingy, galaga fire), etc..
On another note, Just got a few Japanese UMD Music and Movies in the mail. Not sure if anyones interested in them, but I can get some pictures/info on them if anyone wants
Rob V: Namco Museum for PSP.. 7 'classic' games, and 4 newly created ones.

does anyone know of a program that will automatically optimize multiple photos for the PSP? i have shrunk down a few manually and they take very little space when a 6 megapixel photo is shrunk down to 480*272 resolution. you can fit tons of photos on a card when they are this size...if anyone knows of a program that would do this easily with multiple photos that would be great....THANKS

sofdec, I have the Japanese version of Namco Museum. How do you get the screen to go vertically? I have a Japanese instruction manual so it's pretty hard to find out.
Also I have the Pelican face armor for my PSP. It covers the whole face and it's not bulky. You can access all your ports. It connects by two screw holes that are on the back of your PSP. It only cost me 12.98 Canadian. I am very happy with it.

Go to Options inside the game, then there should be a few options for "Ratio" and such.. One will turn it vertical, one will fill the full screen.
I think you can also do it from the Pause menu

I know it is probably in the thread somewhere, but did anyone get MLB? I'm really wanting to pick this up, but it is 989 sports which can be scary. I don't know if I want to wait for MVP or pick this up. Online play isn't a big deal, but if MLB is decent I might want to drop $40 on it.
Anyone else thinking its better to wait on MVP? I'm going to hate picking up MLB and regretting it when MVP comes out.

I decided to play it safe and wait on MVP. GameRush still has the trade two get a preorder for $29.99 deal so I dumped a couple of old games and got MVP for $6. I also ended up buying a used copy of Tiger Woods to tide me over and it is surprisingly good. Not as much of a compromise from the console version as I thought it would be. Load times are the usual suck, but overall a good job by EA.

I picked up MLB a couple of weeks ago - had to have a baseball fix. The game is suprisingly good. There are a couple of oddities like hitting a hard ground ball that results in it springing over the SS head and into the gap. Also the pitching meter seems a little off - but it could just be me. The animations and play by play are pretty slick though. The announcer is spot on and there are subtle little moves by the 1B that just remind you of something you'd see at the ballpark.
No career mode or updated rosters kind of hurts this game IMO. I'd give it a 7/10.

After putting 4 hours or so into Tiger I can recommend it, but I do have to mention its one slight flaw and its not the load times so much. Its that annoying little analog nub. It is very easy to screw up your shots due to this nub. For some reason what I think is straight up on the stick registers as slightly to the right on my PSP. It defintely takes some time and practice to get your shots down, but after awhile you get used to it. If anything it makes this version more difficult than the console versions that many think are way too easy anyway.
Thanks for the review of MLB I'm probably going to give it a rental before MVP is released.

Can any of you guys tell me if the US version comes with an international warranty or not? I have a friend who's going to the states soon and might ask him to get one for me. I'll have to wait another 4 months for the australian release, and it will cost me $429 here. That's about US$350 I think. Too expensive.
