1. The Boston pack, regardless of number of songs is only 1 song away from being Boston's first album in its entirety (considering Long Time is in the game proper).
2. The Boston pack was a far more playable collection of songs than this or the Judas Priest album...at least for most people.
I'm just not sure I'm feeling this "whole album" release concept when compared with the six-pack releases. It sounds good at face value, but there are really only 10-20 albums that I like enough (cover to cover) to buy.
This isn't even the Cars' best album, and I'll probably only get Best Friends Girl and Just What I Needed. A Cars six-pack that included Magic and You Might Think would have been a more welcome release from my point of view.
Of course, I'll change my tune when Doolittle comes out...

Tough wait till Thursday on PS3.

I DLed Sugar Magnoia last week, though I barely knew it. Should have spent the extra buck on Casey Jones in hindsight.
I think I can resist Faith No More next week, but I like the Blink song...and MUSE is an automatic download.

After going through The Cars tracks...I remembered them being a lot better. Don't think they have necessarily aged well.
Snagging My Best Friend's Girl for sure, but will wait to see the charts on the others.
But I also don't really care for JP, and I thought that was an awesome album on Rock Band.

anybody know if they plan on adding an option to "Play Album" in Rock Band? I would love to play an album straight trough instead of trying to remember the song order and dealing with going back and forth to the menu.

I think there are only two songs on the Cars album that I "love" (Best Friend's Girl and Just What I Needed). I'd rather just have a $5.49 3-pack with those two and You Might Think, which would make a great Rock Band Song.

The other cars song that stick out for me (Shake It Up and Magic) probably wouldn't be much fun to play...just like most of this album.
Oddly enough, I have yet to download a single pack because they always have a song that isn't worth $1.49 to me. The closest I've come was the Boston pack. I bought More Than a Feeling, Peace of Mind and Rock and Roll Band when it was $.99).

Plus you can cherry pick the one's individually if you want.

*edit - found it on the first page:
The download will not include any special play-the-album mode or add-ons based on the band.

Amazon has the PS2 bundle for $99.99 for two more hours. If anyone is on the fence and has a PS2, get it now. http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox

Unfortunately, there's only a few other ones I can say that about...off the top of my head...
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Muse - Absolution
Radiohead - The Bends
Pixies - Doolittle
Red Hot Chili Peppers - BSSM or Californication
AC/DC Back in Black
Weezer - Blue or Green Album
Def Leppard - Hysteria
pick a Beatles album...but I'd still rather have a Grateful Dead type pack
...maybe a few others.

But still...I think I'd prefer a six pack that included American Music and Freak Magnet.
