No. I meant that just like with the the three games in the PoP trilogy, the three games within Spyro trilogy of games are all pretty much the same game with just minor incremental improvements and it's hard to recall any specific differences between them.
Not laughing at your "stupid post", just laughing that the answer here is the same as the answer was then.

I "Pre-Ordered" this yesterday....for $20, has the look of World of Warcraft and style of Diablo III a bit....plus a new twist on Loot...not a focus on Personal Stash but it's a "Community Chest" in order to improve, repair, defend your Settlement...more toward group coop play than solo...

What the heck, it’s only $20 and there were a couple of preorder bonuses as well. I bought Midgard as well. Maybe we can play it sometime? I will reach out to Gator Shea…

re: The last video game you bought (that you’re actually going to play)

Having just purchased a Nintendo Switch, I had enough cash to pick up three games, and the three I chose were...

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - I still remember the joy I had when I first picked up Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, and how many countless hours I spent playing that game, even while most of my buddies thought I was crazy wasting my time on such a "silly, nonsense game." And now? Tons of them have been playing the latest edition and are just as addicted as I initially was. It's just so addictive, and I refuse to mess with the game clock, and yet I've still already upgraded my house three times, and I've really only had it for just over a week...I can't wait to see what lies ahead, and I also have trouble not waking up at 5:00 AM when the town resets and whatnot, and Nook makes his kind of daily announcement, or at least 8:00 AM, when the store opens so I can see what new items I can purchase...This is the game I've played the most since getting the Switch...

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Obviously a blast to play, but I still have some issues. Sure, there are enough pure racing levels, and they're all pretty well designed. The driving itself is nice, even though I had to figure out how to turn off that feature that essentially helps you stay on the road and whatnot (I understand they put that in to help kids who play stay competitive, but they should've made it clear that it is automatically turned on)...The number of characters is okay...The unlockables are so-so, nothing too exciting there...My main issue is with the Battle Mode levels and gameplay itself...I just find there's way too many players in each game, and the gameplay is just soooo chaotic I don't get the joy I used to when I'd have three buddies over playing 4-player multiplayer on the N64 or Gamecube...It was much easier to target individual characters whereas in the Switch game, I'm really just picking up stuff like turtle shells or banana peels and am just firing them off at random, with no really targeting in mind...I also wish they had get certain levels like the damn Block Fort from the N64 version, which I still think is the greatest battle level in Mario Kart history...And on a side note, yes, I probably should've researched this, but I did not know that I needed to subscribe to that Nintendo eShop or whatever just to play the game online...So I still might do that, but it's still disappointing that that's the case...All in all, it is a fun game, and I wish I could have multiple buddies over and play together on a big-screen, as that would probably alter my view, but getting older, buddies have kids and we all have jobs and obviously COVID is a factor, so it's tough to create those get-togethers...Overall I'm pleased with the game, but I almost wish I had purchased Smash Brothers instead, at least initially...I still would've purchased this game down the road, but I think I would've been playing Smash Brothers a lot more, just based on what I've heard about the single-player campaign and collectibles and the number of characters, etc...

Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild - I'll be honest, I went in with extremely high expectations and was very let-down. Now, I'm sure that will change, but for now I find the game (A) a bit boring, (B) a bit frustrating just in that it's more difficult than expected cause they really don't spell things out for you, even at the beginning stages, (C) for an open-world game, I don't find this nearly as interesting as something like Skyrim, which actually has constant towns/villages/strangers to meet/interact with. This "open world" is largely empty, or at least that's what I'm finding at the moment. Like I said, I know it takes times for some games to grow on you, but I had a completely different and much better experience with past Zelda games, especially Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker, believe it or not. Am I glad I bought it? I'm lukewarm. Wish I didn't pay the full-price for it. Would've preferred the Mario game, but it came down to that or this and this was the one I chose, so I'll live with it. I just think this is the type of game that I'll probably return to only after I'm bored with whatever else I'm playing, or if I have some sort of unexpected week or two vacation and can really dedicate some time to it...

I should also add that I'm truly impressed by the Nintendo Switch. I was still skeptical, despite all the positives I've been hearing for the past few years, but it's a really great system (despite not including certain features that are typical of gaming systems, I know). And I've mostly played it docked, and it looks great on my TV, but the times I have played it handheld left me super-impressed. The sound is great. The picture quality really doesn't look like it drops off that much. It's just fun if I'm feeling like sitting out on the deck under an umbrella on a nice day, and deciding, hey, instead of reading a book (which I still do more than gaming, FYI), maybe I'll play Animal Crossing for an hour or two...It's a great way to pass the time and the portability is just so much fun....

I guess I spoke to soon when it came to Zelda. After finally ignoring the annoying old man and his whole "point to the Shrines" shit, I got to like the game a lot more. It does require a ton of patience, but I am actually enjoying it, even if I really only play in small increments (we're talking like a half-hour here, a half-hour there, very rarely do I play more than that). I'd love to unlock the paraglider and whatnot, but it'll take time. While I still kinda wish I purchased that Mario game as opposed to this, I'm sure I'll eventually come to appreciate it...

Animal Crossing remains my go-to game. I spend hours and hours on this. Which helps, cause technically I'm "on call" for my current job, so most often I have no idea whether or not I'm working the next day or the next hour or what-have-you, so I wake up early, shower, get "ready for work" (even though I don't know if I'm working), and I just sit and chill and play this game while I wait to see whether or not I'm called in. Not ideal, but this game really helps to pass the time, aside from my jackass roommate who constantly insists I'm not watering his various flowers enough (I'm NOT a gardener, and there's a heatwave, in case anybody noticed). So mostly I just sit and play this game, which I've only had for about two weeks, but I already have 3 extra rooms, and I assume my next house upgrade is like an attic or a basement, which would be cool.

Mario Kart is still fun, albeit way to easy, and to be honest, I just miss having friends over and playing 4-player multiplayer, yelling at each other while drinking soda and downing potato chips. It's still a fun game, but I really, really wish I purchased Smash Bros. instead (which I still might do on Tuesday, so long as I actually get my paycheck). That would be fun. Also highly recommend turning off that stupid-ass feature that's like "driver's assistance" or some shit...It eliminates short-cuts and it's just frankly really annoying...It makes the game far too easy and I just couldn't stand it...Had to go online before I could figure out how to shut that off...Nintendo should've made that way easier to shut-off, and shouldn't have made it standard...

re: The last video game you bought (that you’re actually going to play)

Decided to buy Smash Bros. and man, I'm loving it. It's just pure bliss...Like, I remember when the original Smash Bros. came out on the 64; I think we rented it the first weekend it was out and me, my brother, and a few buddies were glued to that thing all night Friday and Saturday. This one is just off the charts good. Like, first of all, you have like close to 100 different levels or whatever, and even if there's the odd one that's not great, there's just so many to choose from that it's overwhelming. And while I was a little confused as per the lack of playable characters initially, I actually don't mind having to grind and unlock the other ones (I know there are certain loopholes to speed up the process, but I really don't mind; kind of like Animal Crossing and my decision not to mess with the clock). Mario Kart 8 Deluxe kind of bugged me in that regard, in that pretty much every character was available immediately, and the few things you could unlock (cars, tires, etc.) were really just fluff, for the most part. That said, I've managed to unlock some characters, so maybe I have like close to 20 available, but still way more to go...In the meantime, I finally signed up for a Nintendo account because I found out Resident Evil 4 is on the eShop or whatever, and seeing as that's one of my favourite games of all-time (and I sadly had to sell it along with my GameCube when I was struggling financially), I really wanna download it and play it all over again. Still doing a stupid landscape job, so at least when I do get a break, I generally just go off to the side somewhere, sit under a tree, and at least enjoy playing the Switch for a half-hour or so...Everyone else at work is cliquey so I'd rather just sit by myself as opposed to listen to them degrade anyone else that hasn't been working there for like a year...God forbid they welcome someone to the team...BUT, can't wait to play some Resident Evil 4...If only Until Dawn was available on the Switch, I'd be in heaven...

FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN SMASH BROS. SO FAR: Sonic is a blast to play, and I still always enjoy playing Pikachu (even though, kind of like Oddjob in Goldeneye, me and buddies kind of had a rule that no one could play that character, as his constant "Pika! Pika! Pika!" just became too damn annoying), Bowser, funnily enough, even though I never really played him in previous incarnations of the game, and then my go-to guy, which is Captain Falcon. I don't know what it is, but I've always been really successful with the dude, and I enjoy his moves/style. Looking forward to eventually unlocking Mega Man, but for now, it's on to some Resident Evil 4 action (although, I must say, I'm super-pumped to be downloading Banjo-Kazooie in the background. One of my all-time favourite games and characters, I can't wait to see what he's like in Smash Bros., also downloaded that dude from Final Fight cause I only had like an extra $8.00 left on the card, so I figured what-the-hell...It was either him or some of the Minecraft characters...The only other game I'm intrigued by at the moment (aside from Super Mario, which I'll get eventually), is Civilization VI (I think, whatever the latest one is)...I've been playing those games since the second one, and having it on the Switch intrigues me...I remember spending countless hours at my desktop computer back in the day constantly going, "Okay, one more turn, just one more turn..." And then four or five hours later realizing I had to hop in the shower and get to classes at the University, sans sleep...Never ever came close to "beating the game" or whatever, even if you can, but I always enjoyed building those awesome things like the Great Works of the World and whatnot...That game was crazy addictive...

EDIT: Banjo is soooooo much fun in the game. Primarily playing with Kirby though, as that's the character you're kind of forced to deal with in that "Adventure Campaign" or whatever it's called...I've got his moves more-or-less down pat, so I figure I might as well keep on using him. Resident Evil 4 is still fun, but I'm still getting used to the controls on the Switch. Not nearly as intuitive as they were with the GameCube controller. Just having a lot of difficulty aiming properly, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. From what I can tell, thus far, the graphics still hold up remarkably well, and I'm digging the story, as it's been quite a while since I played it...For $25.00/Canadian, it's a pretty decent deal...Still have no idea why something like LA Noire is like $69.99 or something like that...It's a good game, and I'd like to get it for the Switch, but no way am I paying that price point...What a joke...

EDIT: Mega Man is possibly the worst character in Smash Bros. Like, I couldn't believe how many times he fell off the edge of a level. And his powers and hits just suck. They really did shame to that character. On the other hand, that Sheik character (who I believe is secretly Zelda, if I remember correctly, is great; just a dominant force). Also loved playing that giant crocodile from Donkey Kong...But, yeah, Mega Man just flat out sucks, and the only reason I won playing him in Classic Mode, was because of the Pokeballs and shit like that...Otherwise I would've been f**ked...Solid Snake was decent, though, he's a character I'll probably end up using more and more...

re: The last video game you bought (that you’re actually going to play)

Had to buy Skyrim, I just had to. Even though I've played it for the PS3, the PS4, etc., I just had to. Not real fun starting all over again, but I just love the game, and being able to play it mobile on the Switch?, Well, that just sounds fun...I f**ked over with my current landscaping job so at least I can enjoy this game...Not sure what I'm going to do with life now, but alas, at least I can play this game, along with Animal Crossing...

re: The last video game you bought (that you’re actually going to play)

So, thus far, I've purchased the following for the Switch:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - I'd give this a 7/10 rating. Like I've said, it's kinda fun, but super-easy, and I'd probably enjoy it more if I had buddies to play with.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Enjoying it more, but I'd still only give it like a 6/10 rating. It's getting better, but the so-called "open world" is just too barren for my liking...Which brings me to...
Skyrim - Man, just started playing this again but it's amazing, just as before. I love this game. I've always loved this game...Can't wait to play more but it's one of those games where you just wanna savour it...Not indulge too much...
Resident Evil 4 - Again, struggling with the controls, but I'm sure I'll get used to them eventually. One of my favorite games of all-time, so I'm sure Ill enjoy it. But it'll take some time, I guess...
Animal Crossing - What else can I say? Just simply the best game ever, and I play it every day, and I enjoy it all the time. It's just a great, great game.

I can't even go downstairs now, as he's down there. I just wanna go outside for a smoke but I can't even do that. Have to wait until he goes to bed. He's an awful person.

Okay, awesome, he just requested that I give him a smoke. One of my last smokes. Jesus f**king christ...He's just cruel...

Blasphemous is on sale on the eShop and I’ve always been curious about it, so I picked that one up.

I also picked up Everspace 2 for $15 due to a price error on GOG (should have listed for $31.99). I could never get into the first one but have heard nothing but good things about it’s sequel.

re: The last video game you bought (that you’re actually going to play)

Just bought Stardew Valley for the Switch, hopefully it lives up to the hype. And finally, finally purchased Super Mario Odessye, or whatever it's called...looking forward to that, but have to wait for the download...Probably should've bought it in the first place, but I screwed up and bought that Zelda game first (which I'm still not really liking)...Hope this one is "fun"...

re: The last video game you bought (that you’re actually going to play)

Super Mario. Odyssey is...interesting so far, but to me, it doesn't even feel like a real Mario game so far. Like, I may be one of the few, but I loved Super Mario Sunshine (aside from the stupid levels without the jetpack thing, funnily enough). I loved Sunshine. Of course I loved Mario Bros. 1-3, and especially Super Mario World, but I actually never played Super Mario 64. This one just feels kind of odd, at this point. I know I'm only on like the second level or something (the sand place, is what they say), but I hope it gets better, cause so far I'm a bit disappointed. Not like as disappointed as I was with the Zelda game, but at least this one I thought I could just pick up and play and have fun, but I didn't really feel that way...The first level was fun but I was surprised to kind of wanna just put the controller down and do what I'm doing now (which is rewatching The Sopranos; I'm on Season Two already, and only started a couple nights ago)...But...I did manage to squeeze in a bit of the other game...

Stardew Valley...Just started...Named my character and all that...Even though I really didn't even "start" the game, aside from the basics, I'm really looking forward to this one. It just seems right up my valley...I was somewhat hesitant to purchase, cause I feared it might be too close to Animal Crossing, but I have a feeling I'm going to love this one, and I'm afraid I'll get too addicted...Like, Animal Crossing kind of already has me waking up at 5:00 AM even if I'm not working, just to see what the town has to say and what is new in Nook's store (which, unfortunately is usually nothing), and I'm worried how much of my time this game will take up, but I'm cautiously looking forward to it...And I love the SNES visuals...This game is just totally up my alley, and I can't wait to dive in, but at least, for tonight, I wanna watch more Sopranos before I get addicted to yet another game...I considered buying Hades instead of this, but I looked at some video reviews of Hades, and as super-hyped up they were, that just doesn't seem like my type of game...I'd probably prefer that Pokemon game, but that'll be only if I have funds to spare...I figured that Super Mario was worth it, and when I saw how cheap this game was? I was like, damn...Might as well...Especially if I have to avoid the roommate and go to the park or something...At least I can play this game or Animal Crossing, and wait for his car to leave the driveway...Then? Back home...

Has anyone else played this Stardew Valley game?
