Just a note...

Don't choose anything that is around level 20 or less. You can get to level 20 in a few hours and in a way sort of waste your unlock token.

What you should do is look at your class...see what you use..is it Ghost? Is it primary gunfighter? The one thing you use on all your classes that is the highest level to get...that is what you want to spend your token on.

I spent my first token on Ghost. I spent my second token on the FAL (which I wish I had not) I think I am going to spend my third token on the SCAR-H or Black hat...
So, once you permanently unlock something, can you use that item regardless of your level (compared to the items level). For example, I choose to permanently unlock the SMR, I can equip it even if I am a lower level than the normal unlock level??

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

Finally unlocked select fire for the FAL and now see what all the fuss was about. Not sure what it was like pre-nerf, because it is still beastly IMO. I ran it with a suppressor and stock this morning. There is no recoil whatsoever, even at long range.

I also started with the Remington yesterday. It's a bit of an adjustment since I've never been much of a shotty guy in any of the past games, but damn it's a lot of fun. Still trying to get the timing down of firing exactly after I start to ADS. Other than the long barrel attachment, what does everyone like to run with?

I have my shotguns all up to diamond camo and my experience with the 870 is to run long barrel for your distance and laser for hip fire accuracy. You will be doing more run & gun with the Shotty, so you want that hip fire accuracy. I'd also recommend Dexterity, as it helps you snap your gun up into hip fire position much faster out of a sprint.

I concur with M Polo. I use laser sight and long barrel.

How did you get the one hit kills with the S12? This thing doesn't seem to register half the one hit kills I get, never mind the fact that it seems to almost always require multiple shots.

Well, my emblem was banned. I can't use it for 13 days. That's annoying.

Mine was just a chick bent over. Wasn't graphic. No butthole.

I just find it hilarious that in a game with graphic killing, a cartoony ass gets my emblem banned.

It is not in my mind, when I start doing bad, I get on my computer..download a bunch of games on steam, and stream a movie on netflix...my matches start to run smooth, and my K/D shoots through the roof...I am still getting really good bandwidth test in the black ops menu...just not perfect, so I don't host.

I did the Prestige thing and kept the AN-94... I kind of regret it and wish I would have kept the Skorpion or Ghost. I did get to Level 13 after 3 matches though.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

I decided to run a class with no perks or attachements to knock out the two camo challenges at once. I don't know how people are successful running the Skorpion without either a supressor or a foregrip. The recoil is just unmanageable for me.

For the S12 I had to move over to the Hardcore playlist for the total kills camo's, no perks camo and teh no attachments camo. I switched back to regular for the Revenge medals and went into Demolition for the Blood Thirsty metals.

In regular game types the S12 almost always requires 2 - 4 shots.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

After being on the fence for the last week or so I finally prestiged. Took an extra CAC slot and permantlly unlocked the SMR. I quickly got to level 16 and unlocked my most used wildcard, Overkill (I think I'll use my permanent unlock token from the next prestige on that. I love using Target Finder, FMJ and either extended mag/foregrip on most of my weapons.

I'm glad I maxed, or nearly maxed out the early weapons so I wouldn't be running around with weak weapons when starting over. Using my maxed MK48 with FMJ and Target Finder to spray the A demolition site in Nuketown from the other side of the rig trailer is surprisingly satisfying.

I've seen some pretty questionable emblems on display. Most of them either sexual (lots of dongs doing strange things) or racist (really...KKK...white hoods ). Didn't even know they could ban them (is that on PC or all versions?).

How does one even play the Nuketown map anymore? It certainly isn't on Kill Confirmed.

Bonus and then Chaos Moshpit. It is in the rotation there.

It comes up in the Chaos Moshpit playlists. Select bonus under the game type menu and you should see it.

I am on 360 and have been banned. People can complain about your emblem straight from your profile.

I think it was just his emblem that was banned, at least, that is what his first post about it would seem to indicate.

From what I understand your first ban is for the emblem, 2nd is for a few days , 3rd is a longer time and 4th is a perma ban

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

Discovering the joys of perks I have overlooked...

Dexterity. I am enjoying the Scar-H again now that I am level 40, and the thing about this weapon is it has the best iron sites in the game. You really don't need a scope. Because of this I have been experimenting with different builds, and decided to try dexterity. MY GOD does you weapon shoot up after a run quick. It is instant. I can actually beat a shotgun point blank at times now.
