I don't give two shits about CoD though, just Zombie mode.

Incorrect. It is no longer running on the old single player engine adn now uses the multiplayer engine alowimg for eight player co-op.

However it gives you the option to run solo or with friends or pubtards.

8 player zombies? That sounds awesome, if they can execute it properly.

On another note, where da fu*k are the reviews? Did Activision place an embargo on them or something?

so you can do the Zombie campaign as a solo campaign...that is new isn't it?

It's not new. You've always been able to do Zombies solo.

Well, how it actually works is there's two teams of four. Whichever team out survives the other is the winner.

I'm assuming we will see all of the reviews tomorrow.

Is Black Ops similar to Modern Warfare in terms of gameplay?

Is the campaign open from the getgo or do you have to open it up after completing the single player campaign? Trying to decide if I should preorder. I do love the Modern Warfare trilogy.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

I haven't kept up with the news for this game so I'm not sure what has changed, but in past titles it has always been completely independent of the normal campaign and it's not really a "campaign" either. It's basically just a horde mode.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

I think this will be the first Call of Duty I don't buy right away. Assuming I buy it at all. Just not as interested as I was before. I always buy it day one, play multiplayer to level 20-30 then get bored and trade it in.

Never before release. Activision runs a pretty tight review embargo. Besides, the game is pretty review-proof. From what I've read in previews though, expect some harsh criticism of the Vita version.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

I got my shipping notice from NewEgg and was disappointed that I'm not expected to get the game until Thursday

Oh well, only spent $47.99 rather than $65 on Amazon.

I'm in the exact same boat. It takes a while getting used to waiting, but for a day or two it's worth it. Adds up over time...

Geezus, you have a million questions. Have you really never played a CoD game??? Just buy the GD game and decide for yourself.
