Thankfully, I locked up the hotly-desired Gamertag of "Sonic Yogurt" in 2002, so the rest of you are out of luck.

In other Xbox-things-from-another-era discussion, did anyone ever use their Xbox Live Diamond card? I carried mine around with me all the time but never actually did anything with it.

My understanding is that this is only the case if you still have the gamertag that they randomly generated for you. If you specifically created your own first gamertag, then you cannot change it for free.

I had the original "Spiderbite" gamertag (no #s after it) but let my Live sub run out one time several years ago. I guess I never thought about losing it but I would love to have it back. I expect that will be unlikely though. I came up with "FatalSpiderbite" and have stuck with it since after going though a couple of different ones in between.

Has anyone here run in to the 0x80270300 error message? It's the one where when you start up the game and then it boots back to the xbox home page and pops up a message that says "not ready yet, Doom needs to finish installing or show ready to start, blah, blah, blah.

This is the second game in a row this has happened to me. First Dying Light now Doom. The only solution I've found is to uninstall and reinstall the game which sucks. I thought it was maybe a fluke on Dying Light but now it's happened again. I've see some references to it when searching on Google but no one seems to have a solution.

Bioshock Infinite was already given away a little over a year ago. Duplicates might happen eventually, but probably not for something given away so recently.

RDR, I'll believe it when I see it...heck if they make it backwards compatible, that'll be good enough. Same with Infinite. I have the discs, but I pretty much only touch the 360 these days when the wife or myself would rather stream (Hulu, Amazon or Vudu) back in the bedroom or something similar.

There's little question RDR will be backwards compatible, it's been tested and users were able to use a workaround to play it a few months ago.
