Yeah it's weird, you basically have to go to Major Nelson or one of the deals sites to see them. I just do that for any sale instead of looking at the store itself.

Only buy it for the story missions. The multiplayer is absolutely dead and I have yet to play a match online.

EA has added BF4 Pemium and BF Hardline Premium to The Vault for a Limited Time (which looks to be all Summer). Grab them while they're free. Nice free bonus there.

I'm pretty much only interested in the single player stuff anyway, so that's good to know. But, considering the sordid history of this release in general, I'll pass. Surely, this will end up on GwG by the end of the year. I have plenty of stuff to play until then. Or if it hits $15 or less.

I got a Halo MCC game code from cdkeys.com for around 22 or 23 bucks last weekend so 25 from xbox store is good. The cheapest I've seen it since i started looking (back in Nov) was around 30 bucks.

My kids have only played the split screen multiplayer and had a blast. there was one glitch where it shrunk the multiplayer screens real small. dont remember what version it was on, halo 2 or 3, i think

Hardcore players like your kids are the reason I stick to single player. I considered myself a pretty dedicated Halo player on the original Xbox console until a couple of kids came over and played split screen. I couldn't even keep up with what was going on.

I replayed Halo 1-3 on the MCC and enjoyed them. Halo 4 will be new to me once I get around to it.

My friends and I were having issues the first night we played split screen and almost turned us off the game completely. It wouldn't allow us to stay logged in. It wouldn't let us join matches either. Player 1 would have to send invites to the other 3 like we were on Live despite sitting next to each other. We'd play our match and as soon as we'd get back to the lobby it would log everyone out, kick us from the 'party' and we had to start the process all over again. Pain in the fucking ass. We probably played 3 matches like that before figuring out what was going on.

All the Rock Band instruments were synced as controllers 2-4 and syncing real controllers couldn't override it.

It's interesting to hear about how Fable came about, and everything about Fable Legends. Reading this just makes me think "Damn it, why didn't they just let them make Fable 4 instead of this free to play stuff"

I read most of that article too yesterday as well. I'm happy with Microsoft but that certainly knocked them down a peg for me. A franchise like Fable should never be a "service". Fable 4 would have been awesome, I'm just not sure what they were thinking at all. Fable 1 is the game that made me go back and get an Xbox, and Fable 2 was my favorite game on Xbox 360 until Skyrim came out. That article made me sad and angry at the same time.

Has anyone that has an external HD tried upgrading before? I currently have a 500GB plugged in and was thinking about upgrading to a 1TB. Not sure if I will lose what is currently being stored on the 500GB? Because I don't see a way of transferring that over to the new drive?

As I recall, you need to plug both external drives into the Xbox One at the same time. You can then somehow manage the storage and move it from one to the other.

ok, the fan noise seems to only happen when playing DOOM. i also moved from external to internal hdd and same results...

After much consideration, Microsoft and Team Dakota have decided to discontinue support for “Project Spark.”

Too bad. I always thought Spark was a cool idea (essentially a game engine within the console to create your own games), but it looks like it just didn't get enough traction.

Good that there's no layoffs, though.

What Dan stated is correct. However, you could just keep the 500GB as well since you can have two external hard drives attached at once

XBox 360 Backwards Compatibility supports multi disc games now, starting with Deus Ex Human Revolution.
