Maybe already stated, but in regards to the add-on hard drive. Can we still use the one we have now? Just that you would not be able to have any games on it that are specifically Series X games?

Thx Deftones, was having issues seeing it. Main thing I saw was how expensive the new external drive was. But should be able to mange with the current external I have and the internal 1 Tb on the new X holding the Series X games just fine.

I did not get anything from Target, but their expected delivery already mentioned the following day and not launch day for when it was going to be delivered with a 1 week window.

I didn't watch it either, but skimming through summaries/responses on another forum, the big things were games with dynamic resolutions and/or unlocked framerates as well as load times. Dead or Alive 6 at 4K/60fps. Monster Hunter World's framerate leaping from 34fps to 59/60fps. GTA 4 at a locked 60fps.

Just found out I might be getting this on launch. I have a hook up I didn’t know about. Might pay like $50 extra, but no leg work, waiting and shit. I saw load times were reduced from minutes to seconds and even though this guy didn’t have access to any Series X dedicated, he saw consistent frame rate on One games and you can have quick save which saves 6 games at exact points at once! That’s bananas. Even though not 4K can still take advantage of that. I’m sold!

That is exactly what an OldBoy thread is, though.

Tom Warren makes a valid point.
It shows that MS is pretty confident in what they have if they're willing to pass along review units to uncontrolled testing this early; even if they're using NDAs to limit what reviewers can talk about publicly on a schedule, which is nothing new.
That said, I hate this slow trickle of info. I'd rather they all have freedom to talk about all of it, not just bits and pieces at a time, but that's how these things go.
