There could be a delay in seeing it. Check your purchase history to see if it was redeemed. Microsoft account | Order history You should have also received an email stating you redeemed it. If it doesn't show anywhere, try redeeming again and then call support if the code states it's been used.

Fighting game Killer Instinct is getting an Anniversary Edition to celebrate its 10th birthday, as well as a significant balance update.
Revealed in a blog post, the Xbox One launch title splits into two versions upon the release of its 10th Anniversary update: the Killer Instinct Base Game, which is free-to-play on all platforms (Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Windows PC, and Steam), and the $29.99 Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition, which includes all 29 fighters and all premium content ever released (VIP Double XP Booster, holiday accessories, and more).
This update means that on Xbox consoles and Windows PC, the current Killer Instinct Definitive Edition will be retired from the store and replaced by Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition. All purchased Definitive Editions will be upgraded to the Anniversary Edition for free.
Some Mature-rated content included in the Definitive Edition is not included in the Anniversary Edition (Definitive Edition App, featuring developer interviews, concept art, Killer Cuts soundtrack, and Xbox KI Classic 1 & 2), but if you already own Killer Instinct Definitive Edition digitally, you will still be able to download this content even after the Definitive Edition is retired.
On Steam, it’s a little different. The current purchase-only Steam version of Killer Instinct will be replaced by Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition. All purchased Steam versions of Killer Instinct will be upgraded to the Anniversary Edition for free, and the Permanent VIP Double XP Booster and Gargos’ Golden God and Argent Shroud colours will be available on Steam for the first time as part of the Anniversary Edition.
It’s worth noting you’ll no longer be able to buy individual fighters and various editions, but anything you’ve previously bought will remain in your library and you’ll still have access to it.

Evidently Xbox.com is having one day sales on select games. I have no idea what the promotion is, but the games seem to be discounted for 24 hours. Evidently yesterday was Assassin's Creed Valhalla Complete, and Jedi Survivor. Today it is Gotham Knights: Deluxe $13.49, and Dead Space Digital Deluxe $7.99 (may not be part of the same 24 hour sale). Prices are changing around 2AM Pacific from what I've read.

The digital-only deluxe edition includes the game itself, plus five exclusive cosmetics. These include three unique suits and two suit textures.
Not that special to me when I can play the game on Game Pass now. I actually just started it last night.
I wanted the Collector's Edition but they wanted $275 when it came out. Now people are trying to sell it for $800 bucks on eBay which is crazy, though actual sales of it are closer to the MSRP price.
