They were on an endcap with other Dinsey DVD/BD's in the movie section

The two TRUs I go to always have the pre-order cards on the regular shelves with the Disney movies. Mixed in just like it's a DVD, might be easy to miss I guess.

And of course many TRUs have 5 or more places where they keep the movies. You get your exercise checking all the DVDs at TRU.

Strange I scanned the movie department pretty good and didn't see any signs of the pre-order cards at all. Tomorrow since it won't be as busy I will just ask ;o)

Re: Toys R Us BD (and DVD) prices 3/21-3/27

I had to ask for them at the register when I went yesterday. Apparently some little girl had taken down the entire display and sent them flying all over the place, so they just decided to keep them behind the register.

Since one can easily just take one of these and walk out, I assume I need my receipt when I return to pick up the movies, correct?

Mine were on top of a solo display rack that had all the new Disney DVD/Blus on it (Ponyo, PatF).

Re: Toys R Us BD (and DVD) prices 3/21-3/27

I had no problem finding the preorder cards. My problem was that
PATF was now 34.99 and they wouldn't PM their website.
That being the case, I think I'm limited to just getting TS1 and 2.

Is anyone else still getting PATF for 26.99?

That sucks. The $26.99 Week 1 promo ended yesterday, but the $10 off coupon is still good thru COB today.

Monday is the last day. After that, TS is no longer a pre-order.

At my store, they were hanging on a display at the Customer Service desk.

Actually the $10 off coupon expires on 3/28. The thread that has the link to the coupon lists 3/21 as the expiration date, but the actual coupon page says 3/28.

Not sure what you're asking but if it is after you do the presale then when you pick up your Toys, you need the receipt and the card, both.

Re: Toys R Us BD (and DVD) prices 3/21-3/27

Well, I preordered at TRU & got the $15 + $5 credits which I used to buy CARS blu ray for $4.99 & with the dvd & Wal Mart bonus disc I already have I'll make my own blu ray/dvd with bonus disc combo pack. Total of about $15 including the preorders for TS1&2. Should be $3.98 with the 2 $10 coupons Tuesday + 2 free movie passes. What a helluva deal. How the hell does Disney stay in business? Gotta love those coupons.

Yeah, that does suck. But that just means PATF is is $5 and not free any more. That's still an unbelievable price for a combo pack blu-ray set.

-$34.99 - PATF
-$5 - TS1 Pre-order
-$5 - TS 2 Pre-order
+$15 - TSU Promo
+05 - TSU Disney Promo
+10 - PATF Disney Coupon
-----------
$14.99 - total

This means PATF is now $5 out of pocket at TSU, and TS 1 and 2 are $6.99 on Tuesday, for a total of $18.97 for all three. That's what I did today. Oh, and the kid at the register DID try to say the discount was for Tuesday, but I just showed him what the card, he scanned PATF and it all come up.

I looked at A Bug's Life on Friday and if memory serves it was $29.99.

I counted that $1.99 as the price I paid for PATF, making the "Toy Story" $10 pre-order fee, free.

$26.99 (PATF) + $5.00 (TS1) + $5.00 (TS2) = $36.99

$36.99 - $10 (Disney Coupon) - $5 (Disney Coupon) - $15 (Pre-order Bonus) - $5 (ToysRUs Promo) = $1.99 + tax.
but if I add it up right you still payed around 12 dollars (6 dollars each) total for two blurays.

That can't be right.

$16.99 - TS1
$16.99 - TS2
-10 - preorder (free)
-10 - TS1 coupon
-10 - TS2 coupon
---------
$3.98 - total for TS 1 and 2 or $1.99 each.

I want to see Toy Story 3 @ IMAX. I'm fairly certain the movie coupon won't be good @ IMAX or AMC theaters anyways (my local theater).

Ah that makes it about 15 dollars. Eh not worth it for 15, was thinking about 10. Hopefully Pirates is 25.

They won't let you use you preorder on Toy Story. Some of these thoughts you guys have are ridiculous.

Yes they will, that is the whole point of the preorder, that $10 is a "deposit" towards the movies. The only thing that is being left out is to add to the $4 mentioned in that post whatever you paid when you preordered and in most cases that has been around $2-$12 depending on what deals we were able to get on a specific 3rd titles. So YES, after taxes we are getting deals as good as $8 for 3 movies. So the thoughts are not ridiculous, just get confusing at times at how people try and write them down in their posts.

Re: Toys R Us BD (and DVD) prices 3/21-3/27

Well, the best possible deal would probably be PatF BD and the pre-orders for $2 out the door; then the TS 1&2 , another BD, and a cheap DVD for free with the $51 in coupons (two $10, two $8, two $5 TS coupons, one $5 TRU coupon) Tuesday. So that would end up being four BD combo packs and a DVD for $2 total.

No way I would try that, but I bet someone here will post a pic of their receipts showing it done.

Anyone ever seen Sky High at TRU? That is about the only Disney left I want that I could use the $20 off with the pre-order.
